"Let's go Beacon Hills!" You shout out as you shake your pom poms. The other cheerleaders follow your lead and do tricks such as the splits and backflips.

It was just practice for them before the game but as cheer captain, you felt the need to keep everyone's spirit up before the big game.

As you were about to yell out a cheer, a lacrosse ball hit you right in the middle of your forehead with such force that you fell backwards with a yelp.

You groan and rub your forehead as one of the lacrosse boys came running over to you, (you assumed he was the boy that hit you).

"Holy crap, I am so sorry!" You were about to yell at him but one look at his face made you stop. He was gorgeous. You couldn't stop staring into his eyes until he cleared his throat.

"Oh um sorry." You stuttered. He smiled at you. "I'm the one who should be sorry, I'm the one who hit you with the ball." You laughed. "It's fine."

"Uh I'm Theo Raeken." He said and stuck out his hand for you to shake. "I'm Barbora Argent." You say has you shake his hand.

You both stood there silently, looking at each other until coach blew the whistle.

"Hey I have to go but do you want to hang out after the game?" He asks you while shifting on his feet.

You smile and nod. "Sure!" He returns the smiles and runs off to the field.

- 30 minutes later -

Beacon Hills was losing to Devenford prep by, well a lot, but you and your team tried your hardest to keep Beacon Hills' spirit up.

"Let's go Beacon Hills, let's go!" You chanted. You noticed that one of the players, you were sure his name was Liam, stopped playing and looked strangely towards the buses.

All of a sudden he ran towards the buses and jumped to face a hideous beast. You knew about the supernatural because of your sister, Allison Argent, and your father, Chis Argent, but you never seen a real supernatural being until now.

You saw the beast charge towards all of you and you did the first thing that came into your mind. You ran.

You followed your classmates to the school doors and ran inside. There were kids everywhere, some of them were pushing everyone around, not caring about the safety of the other people.

You ran down the hall until one of the lacrosse boys from Devenford Prep pushed you down to the ground. You twisted your ankle as you fell down to the ground. You felt tears forming but you did your hardest not to let them fall.

As you laid on the ground you felt the ground rumbling which meant one thing, the beast was coming.

You tried to stand but only fall back down in even more pain. Your back hit the locker as you slid down back onto the floor.

This was it. You were going to die. You were going to die in the hands of an ugly ass beast.

As if on cue, you hear a growl to your left. You slowly turns your head and see the beast slowly coming towards you, as if it wanted to tease you before it ripped you in half.

You let out a scream and scoot away from it terrorizing fangs. It starts running towards you and you close your eyes wait for the pain but instead you feel two strong arms lift you up and run the opposite direction of the beast.

You look up at your savior to find Theo staring right back at you. "Theo?" He smiles. "Hey Barbora." You smile back at him and focus on where he was taking you, the library.

He pushes the door open, runs to the back of the room, and sets you down gently on the floor. You let out a breath of relief.

"Thanks." You pant. "No problem, anything for a pretty lady." He says and winks at you making you blush.

"Hey Barbora?" He says after a couple minutes of silence. "Yea Theo?" You reply. "I know we might die tonight, but if we somehow don't would you like to go on a date with me?"

You grin. "Yea, I'd like that." He smiles and for once that night, you felt safe.
