A/N-WHOO 10 READS AND 3 VOTES **dances**. Author-chan cannot dance so uh...**stops dancing** Thanks so much everyone it's greatly appreciated! I accidentally mistook another book I have and I thought this got 2k reads in a day and I almost cried but lol nope. Anyhow, enjoy the next chapter in your long, long adventure: Bravery.

The only sound that could be heard was the breathing of you and Yoichi waiting for your brother to wake up from the green eyed brunette who knocking him over and out.
"Im sorry, (Y/N)..." Yoichi apologized again hanging his head low. You began to write down on your paper again "It's ok." since you still refused to speak to the boy. Only once had you opened your mouth, but you immediately closed it in fear.
You began to write down another message to the boy and he watched your hand form new letters, words and sentences. When finished you shakily handed it back to him, fearful of what his response would be.
"Please stop apologizing. Yuu is strong and he'll eventually wake up it's not the end of the world. Also, you should...you should..." Yoichi reread your final sentence a dozen times before he finally finished what you wrote on the paper. "You should start...believing in yourself..."
His pair of now teary emerald eyes met your (E/C) ones as your lips curled into a small smile. You nodded, showing that what you wrote was very genuine.
"But..." Yoichi looked to the ground in search of a protest. "Im so cowardly and weak...I couldn't even save my sister so...How can I save you..." You grabbed another sheet of paper and scribbled down a long message, allowing the boy to collect himself and contemplate more on your words.
"Look I...It's just..." Yoichi kept trying to find the right words, but you beat him to it by handing him another sheet of paper. "Who cares about your physical strength? Like Yuu said, your sister protected you and despite how much you regret your decision in staying under there it's what your sister wanted. For the best of you. You aren't a coward at all. You saved that girl and helped Yuichiro. Yoichi you are so brave. You lost your sister and look at you now. Standing up tall, smiling...talking. I lost my family. I haven't spoken since. Yuu is all Ive got. You lost everybody you had though. You're still here. Doesn't that make you the strongest person here?" Yoichi wiped his eyes and looked to you again. His lips quivered as he choked back quiet sobs. Within seconds he pulled you into a tight embrace, making you flinch at first, but you slowly melted into his warm presence.
"Thank you (Y/N)...I needed those words. Ive needed them for years now...Can I ask you something...?" Yoichi hesitantly asked. You pulled away and nodded yes.
"Why...Don't you talk? S-Sorry I know it's personal! You don't have to answer!" The flustered boy waved his hands showing no worries, but you were slowly writing on paper, choosing the right words. Every now and then you stopped to think, tapping the pencil as a guide.
However, before you could finish writing, Yuichiro woke up reaching his hand towards that ceiling. Your face dropped, knowing what he saw. It definitely wasn't the first time it had happened.
"Yuu!" Yoichi's bright voice now filled the room as he engulfed Yuu in a hug.
"Oi don't knock me out again...Geez my head hurts..." Yuichiro rubbed the back of his head wincing from the pain. When he met your eyes he smiled broadly and began to speak again. "I see that there are a lot of papers...How long was I out and what happened?"
"Nothing major happened...Me and (Y/N) only talked a bit. A nice conversation, actually." Yoichi turned to you and shyly smiled as light pink blush dusted his cheeks, making him look even more adorable. (If that's even possible.)
"Ah, finally awake." A certain purple haired girl popped her head into the room and invited herself in. "I have news; Congratulations, Yuichiro, you've made it into the Vampire Extermination Unit."
"Aha wow Yuu!" Yoichi hugged the raven haired boy again knocking the air out of him.
"You too Yoichi, (Y/N). They admired the way you wanted to protect your friends despite the death that awaited. Welcome to the Moon Demon Company." You waited to hear those words for so long, and yet...an aching was in your chest. Your heart now felt heavy in your chest...
"(Y/N)? Are you alright?" You met the green eyes of Yuu before you got up from your chair and made your way to the door. This happened before, but its been awhile. Before officially leaving the room, you turned to Yuichiro and shook your head no.
"Im envious of her...but I also feel terribly sorry for her..." Shinoa mumbled as your figure walked away.
"You better feel sorry for her...She's been through so much, too much." Yuu responded. "Yoichi, please go to her room and cheer her up. It's room number 918 please go."
"W-Why me?!" The boy stuttered, a blush now visible on his cheeks again.
"You're like her...She was once exactly like you, heck even nicer than you. She sees you in her."
And with that, the brunette nodded and headed out in search of you and your room.

Warning: This could trigger depression. Read at your own risk.
You slammed the door behind you finally letting the held in tears fall down your face. You covered your mouth with your hand to hold in the light sobs that still escaped your lips.
The aching in your chest had finally come to you again. The reminder that you thought disappeared was surely enough back to say hello.
You plopped yourself down onto your couch, grabbing a pillow to hug as the liquid poured from your eyes. It clouded your vision and washed over you cheeks. It stained the pillow and revealed your sadness.
And you couldn't help it.
It was almost an inevitable cycle to have this happen.
You sat wondering and wondering. Pondering on just about everything you did with yourself, everything you did wrong. Everything that was your fault. Questions clouded your mind as your face became red and saliva began to drip down some as you yelled painful sobs into your pillow.
Why do you hate yourself? Why are you here? Why are you sitting here, living, while a bunch of other innocent people are dead, while your family is dead? Why? What happened? Where did you go wrong?
"(Y/N)? Open up please (Y/N). It's Yoichi, please answer." But you didn't. You locked out the person reaching out to help just as you did years ago. "Please (Y/N) if you don't answer I will come in."
Silence.
The door slowly opened and closed but you payed no mind allowing your emotions to flow freely.
"(Y-Y/N)!" Yoichi found your shuddering form and immediately ran to you, but you turned away. "Oh my goodness (Y/N)." The green eyed make now took your head in his hands as he took a look at your face.
What you thought to be disgusting and terrible, he thought beautiful and perfect.
"Oh (Y/N)...What happened..." The brunette fished out a handkerchief and wiped your tears away, but it was no use at the rate your tears were falling at. "Please stop crying..." Yoichi now pulled you onto his lap and gently held your fragile body. You rested your head on his chest and allowed him to stroke your hair.
You both stayed in this positing throughout the night and into morning.
When morning came, Yuichiro came as usual, but when he saw your sleeping figure resting peacefully on top of Yoichi's he became extremely jealous. What really did it for him was when he found the brunettes hands wrapped securely around your waist.
Yuichiro quickly made his way to the two of you and smacked you both with the pillow you had cried into last night.
Despite being hit by the pillow, you slowly awoke and opened your eyes as did Yoichi. When you two finally became aware of your surroundings, your faces heated up seeing the position you guys were in.
"A-A-Ah! U-Uhm s-sorry (Y-Y/N)!" The both of you scurried to opposite ends of the sofa while Yuichiro laughed. Soon his laughter died as a serious expression took to his face.
"(Y/N), we need to talk privately. Hurry or else we'll be late. Yoichi stay here."
You made your way up and into your bedroom, Yuichiro following not too far behind. Yuichiro wanted to question why you and Yoichi like that, but left that topic alone and focused on you entirely.
"Are you ok? I know you had a break down and I wasn't there to help so I sent Yoichi." You nodded your head in response signifying you were ok.
"I read your conversation with him yesterday. You two seem to be getting close." Jealously was seeping into his sentences. "Anyhow, I know why you had a break down yesterday. You felt cowardly. Weak. Things you actually aren't. (Y/N), why don't you think you're brave?" You met the boys piercing green eyes and simply shrugged your shoulders, but the boy knew it went beyond that.
"You said it yourself. It was what Mikaela wanted for us. Bravery simply isn't how you look or how big you are. Bravery speaks through your actions and who you are and (Y/N), you definitely qualify as brave. Now, get changed I'll be waiting outside."
And so you changed into clean attire and contemplated on the words given to you. Unfortunately, the raven haired boy was right. Bravery isn't about appearances it's about actions. Though, you still feel very cowardly, you know you've come a long way.
So, as you enter a new class with the Moon Demon Company, you promise yourself, Yuu, Yoichi, and most importantly Mikaela, that you will be brave and try your best to fight through it all.
