THIS CHAPTER IS CALLED THE KNIGHT TWINS

The manor had eight bedrooms that were all perfectly decorated. It took me about twenty minutes to find my room which was just as nice as the rest of the house. All my things were unpacked and I had a huge walk in closet with a new wardrobe which meant my appearance was important. There was a huge desk in the corner with a black binder and when I opened I found out the basics of being a guardian. It wasn't bad I mean after nine p.m. I was off and could do as I pleased unless there was something important that had to be done. I flipped through the back there was a debit and credit card that was for all my expenses. 

I had to cook and keep the house clean and of course make sure to it that both Knight twins stay out of trouble. Make sure they attend there events if they traveled I would too and I also had to offer some kind of protection. I had to admit that things could have ended up worst and I knew that Jillian was hoping for that. I figured it was best to make a good impression and get some lunch started, so I teleported to the huge kitchen.

The kitchen was huge with white granite counter tops and black tiles with splashes of white in it and they had every appliance you could ask for. There was a huge silver and black fridge that was fully stocked in a large pantry for all the dry foods. I  decided to make some salad and steaks with biscuits. There was an indoor grill inserted into the counter top in the corner and I couldn't help but want to try that first. I seasoned the steaks and threw the meat on the grill then went to work making the salad and biscuits.

While the biscuits and steak cooked  I set up the table using the nice see through plate set.There was white roses in a vase in the middle of the table, They  matched the white roses that hung in a frame over the table. I felt a tear roll down my cheek as I thought of my father but I wiped it away quickly shaking off those emotions. I had wanted to follow in my father's footsteps and maybe build a house like this one day but at this moment I decided to let that dream go.

I didn't hate my father but I also was pissed at him for bringing Jillian into our life I honestly didn't see what he saw in her at all. The smell of steak and warm bread drifted to me and made my stomach rumble. I couldn't wait to eat and I decided to let the past just be that. I walked over to the oven and pulled out the steaming golden brown biscuits. I then turned off the oven then placed them on the table and grabbed the salad off the counter.

I heard the sound of the front door opening and the smell of another vampire drifted to me but it was only one so it didn't seem to be both twins just yet. I walked over to the grill and pulled the steaks onto a severing tray and tried to keep my nerves at bay.

"Hey I'm Kurianna." Someone said.

I turned around and smiled at a very tall girl with shoulder length brown hair and bright gray eyes. "Hi I'm Kenna I'm your new guardian."

I placed the steaks on the table and then walked back to the fridge to get something to drink. I grabbed two teas and placed them on the table too. "Wow you're gorgeous." She exclaimed as she began to shovel food onto the plate in front of her.

 I sat down opposite her feeling the blush that covered my cheeks." Thanks but I'm nothing compared to a princess." I admitted.

"Oh please don't even think of it as that when you think about it you get to boss us around. So there is definitely no need for you to feel the need to be formal with me. I actually hope we can be friends I mean I don't have any girlfriends I always hang out with my boyfriend Emery and his friends." She smiled as she begins to eat.

"Well that is  something we have in common it would truly be nice to have a friend." I responded.

"Well my jackass brother isn't coming home until passed nine so you can come out with me just put the food up with a note for him." She beamed."We can go out and I can introduce you to my boyfriend and his friends it would be fun to have someone to double date with."
