Elyse lets out a grunt as she fell from the fence. Her backpack lies beside her, no longer on her shoulder after the fall. Behind her, an older guy walks towards her. "Why are you running away, Elyse? "   From the tone of the older guy voice, she knows she's in trouble.

She immediately stands up and turned around to face him, "No reason Xavier. I'm just late for school." Xavier raised an eyebrow at her answer.

"Quit playing dumb Elyse," he said sternly.

"Why makes you think so?" she replied innocently. He lets out an annoyed sigh and snapped his fingers. Almost immediately, an old man steps out from a tree behind them, holding a black briefcase. The old man stood beside Xavier and held out the briefcase. Elyse watched at the exchange curiously. Xavier opened the briefcase and without any warning, he threw the contents of the briefcase at Elyse.

She raised her hands to cover her face, preparing for the impact of whatever was in the briefcase only to feel something soft hitting her. Slowly, she lowered her hand only to find countless of papers surrounding her. She bent down to pick one of the many crumpled papers and as she open the paper, her face went white as a sheet. She knew what was coming.

"Did you really think we were that dumb Elyse?" Xavier said smugly. He then takes out a piece of paper from his pocket and read the content out loud.

DETENTION SLIP FOR MISS ELYSE VELLIAS.

REASONS FOR DETENTION:

PUNCHING ANOTHER STUDENT AND THE SECURITY GUARD.

Elyse lets out a groan as he read the details of the paper.

"This is your first detention slip. Do you remember it Elyse?" Xavier asks her. She rolled her eyes at him. How could she ever forget that? She received that slip on the first day of her high school for gods sake. She remembered how she tried to hide the slip from her brother and all the other slip she received after that. She thought she succeeded in doing so until well, what just happened earlier.

"How did you find all of these Xavier? I thought I hid them well enough," she asks him, a hint of embarrassment and anger in her voice.

Xavier lets out a small laugh, "Apparently you didn't hid them good enough little sister." Her face went red at the mockery.

"From today on wards, I want you to attend detention. Understood?" She didn't reply.

"I'll take that as a yes then." Xavier starts to walk towards her and stops in front of her, "Don't disappoint us Elyse. Let this be a lesson to you." He patted her head before walking away.

He turned his head towards the old man. "Lloyd, send her to school will you." he ordered the old man. "Yes sir." Lloyd bowed before picking up Elyse's  backpack. "Should we go Miss Elyse?" Elyse raised her head and let out a sigh, "Only if you promise to bake a chocolate cake for me when I get back home." Lloyd lets out a smile. "Promise."

                                                                            -----------------------------

At the middle of the school's courtyard, loud chattering is heard. Three girls sits on a table bench, their school blazers was placed on top of the table neatly.

" -and then he told Lloyd to send me to school. Can you believe him?" Elyse complained to two girls, hoping for some sympathy but instead all she received was laughter. Elyse rolled her eyes, "Wow, such nice friends you guys are."  They continued to laugh harder.
