Chapter 18.) The Return

 Speeding down the highway my heart started pounding. Everything was going so fast. Looking to the side Vanessa was in the passenger seat crying over Conrad. He risked his life for us.

 On the other side of me there was a police telling me to pull over. Did I listen? no. 

A few seconds later i heard a gun go off then the car went down a bit.

 The sound of the high pitched screething rung my ears from the tire being popped. Gasps and cries filled the car. Something inside me was telling me it over, it's overpull over, don't get into more trouble. time to stop everything. But I knew I had to do something.

 Pulling the gun out of my pocket i handed it to Lina along with a few bullets.

 " Fill it." i hissed in a tone of hurry up, and anger. I know I shouldn't be killing the men of the town but i had too, to save the girl i love.

 Lina's mom's POV.

 I sat there making out with a random man when my phone rung. " hello?" i asked threw the phone. 

" Miss Grande, we have them surronded. Your Daughter, Justin Bieber, and another female. There was another, a male. But he jumped out of the car dying instantly. We'll need you down in the station ASAP." the police man hung up.

 A Smile appeared on my face. " they found my daughter " i whispered. " you have a daughter?" the man i forgot was here asked me, " yes,i do."

 " what's your daughters name?"

 " Lina, why?" the man shook his head. " she's the one that left with that boy, am i right?" i nodded. " wow what a mother you are. Making out with some random people while your daughter went missing. maybe you should've Learn to parent before you had a kid."

 Justin's POV.

 " Okay, Vanessa pull yourself together. Is there any guns you brought? or have in here?" i asked. " we only have one." Vanessa sniffed. " good let's start shooting." I say reaching back to Lina taking the gun away from her.

 Vanessa started shooting the guys in the helicoper. I watched as the helipcopter went down side ways crashing into trees before crashing to the ground. Returning my forcus to Lina, 

" Lina lay on the ground. I don't want you getting hurt, also cover your ears. Or you'll go deaf, one last thing, i love you."

 " i love you too." Lina did as she was told, once i saw her covered i started shooting.

 My ears started ringing. Minutes later there was three cars left. Damn we're good. Shooting to the one i got them. The car started moving in all kind of directioners before flipping, then rolling.

  Vanessa took the other out. One more, this one started shooting at us like crazy. Taking the review mirror off. Then popping the other tire so we were only on the front two. I knew we had to get out of this car before something terrible happens.

 " get down both of you. Cover your heads."

 Pushing on the gas petal with all my strength, it was really hard to do with only two tires. I quickly turned the wheel so the car flipping onto the police car.

 My ears started ringing and buzzing as my sight turned black. What seemed like hours i opened my eyes to see i was still in the car.

 I turned my head to Lina, she was lying there. Not moving but her back was lightly moving from breathing. Vanessa's eyes opened then turned my way. " Are you okay?" i asked her. " do it look like i'm okay?"

 " the car isn't safe, let's get out of here before it explodes." vanessa nodded. Opening my door, well sorta, all i really had to do was push on it a bit. The door just came off.

 Getting out of the car my legs were wobbley. I Pulled Lina out of the back seat pulling her body onto my shoulder.

 running a little but not that fast because wow everything was becoming blurry before me. I stopped Vanessa stood infront of me pulling on my arm trying to get me to move. " take..her." i breathed out.

 Slowly my body fell to the ground.

     Lina's POV.

 I woke up, it was morning i could tell by the smell and feel of the air. " good, you're awake. We need to go to my friends house." Vanessa told me. I stood up to a killer headache.

 Holding onto the side of my head with my right hand i quickly pulled my hand away. I felt something hot and thick.

 Blood.

 " what happened?" i asked. " Justin drove us into a police car." I paused looking around. " where's Justin?" i started to panic in silence. " he passed out and told me to take you. I told him I'll be walking straight but i'm not sure if he heard me."

 " How far back is he? Can we go back for him? i can't leave him. What if he got caught? he probaley did. oh my gosh..." i started to freak the out.

 " He wouldn't have got caught. He might have killed a few more. But i know damn well that boy, Is NOT caught. he couldn't have got caught that soon and easily." i started to walk as Vanessa walked.

 " Will he come for us?" i asked hoping Justin's smart enough to find us, Be with me. Vanessa just shrugged.

" So do you know Justin?" i asked " i only meet him yesterday, but i heard alot of things about him from Conrad."

 " what kind of things?" 

 " umm, he killed his dad because his dad killed his mom, he-"

 " his dad killed his mom? i thought his mom was still alive." Vanessa shook her head. 

" no his mom died a few years ago then Justin got his revenge on his dad like a year or two ago, his mom was his life, Justin still thinks his mom's alive. it's weird, but everything that he went threw, it's understandible."

 " oh my gosh."

 Justin's POV.

 I've woke up about 2 hours ago and i began my search from them. They couldn't have got that far. " Lina!" i whispered yelled. I started running straight. I stopped when i saw foot tracked two fairs followed by some blood.

 They went this way. As i walked i covered the tracks so if there is a police or something behind me they won't see them.

 I hope they're safe. I'll fucking die if Lina didn't make it. My mind started to drift off. What will i do in jail? Just sit there sorting out my life how stupid my life is or have been? 

 But i'm doing this all for my mom She'll be proud of me.

  I started to run when i tripped over a rock, hitting my leg off the rock then it snapped backwards.

 Damn it started throbbing. " Fuck!" i screamed in pain. sitting there SUFFERING in silence. I heard in the distance sounds of feet running in my direction.

 Shit. they found me, i'm sure they have. " Justin?" Lina ran to me. Good it's not the police. The biggest smile appeared on my face, the pain left for a while when i saw her.

 Lina bent down to my side. Pulling her face closer to mine i kissed those perfect, soft lips of hers. I moved my hand to the side of her head.

 I pulled away from the kiss to see blood on my hand. " I'm sorry i caused this." i starred at the gashed that had formed from the back of her ear to the middle on her head. " it's fine, i knew you did what you had to do to protect us."

 I smiled then looked at Vanessa who stood by the tree watching us. " let's get going guys." Vanessa said walking over to me grabbing my hand helping me up.

 " You twisted it good Justin, it could be broken." " yeah i know." i put my hand out for Lina to hold. She took it.

 Sometimes getting hurt while looking for the person that makes you complete is worth it. Because broken,sad,or happy that person will be there for you, That's what love is.
