Saying Goodbye

Chapter 2

"Well what happened"Josh asked as we sat down with our lunch

"Well Mr Fuzz pulled us out of class and we nearly got suspended"I said looking down

"I know what will cheer you up"
he said looking in his bag

Suddenly Brandon sat down barging Josh out the way.

"Hey can you not!"Josh shouted

"Sorry"Brandon said

I laughed

"So what do you think about a movie on Saturday"Brandon asked

"Yeah sure"my face lit up

He was nice looking but I had never really had feelings for him until now

"Great here's my number" he enthusiastically handing me a crumbled piece of paper "bye"he said

He stood up and walked over to me kissing my cheek

I blushed but in a good way

He walked of not saying a word

"Omg did that just happen I"I said leaping with joy

"Oh look at you dating a mega popular guy on the football team"he said rolling his eyes

"Calm down don't get to exited now"I said sarcastically"anyway what did you want to show me?"

"Nothing,it's stupid honestly"he said trying not to make eye contact

"Okay"I smiled but at the same time I was so confused

"It's weird not seeing you with the "populars" like Brianna and stuff"Josh said

"Yeah well things change"I snapped" better go I have French test that I need to look over notes for"I said walking away

A few hours later

"Hey honey how was school"my mum asked concerned

Her and my dad were siting at the table

I slowly put my bag on the floor as I entered the dining room

"What's up?"I asked confused

They looked at each other

"Well the school phoned and they had said that you and Brianna had a argument in class is this true?"he asked slightly annoyed"because if this is the case we will have move you to another school".

I was so shocked

My face was as white as a ghost

"No...no no need to worry we just had a little row but we are completely fine"I lied

"Are you sure?"my dad asked stern

"Absolutely nothing to worry about"I attempted to smile

"Okay then up stairs"my mum said softly

"Cheerio"I said grabbing my bag and I ran up the stairs

Then I slammed my door and sat down next to it throwing my scruffy bag on the floor I put my hands on my head and tears came streaming down my warm face

I was so done with Brianna and her minions,

I was so done with school,

I was so done with everything,

I picked up the picture of me and Chelsea and studied it closely I added the two pieces I ripped of and there we were the four of us

No Lola,

Just me,Brianna,Chelsea and Josh

It felt like so long ago we took that picture I remember it we were about 5 years old playing in Brianna's playground that her father built her before he died and how we played hide and seek for hours on end and how we would make Josh always be the seeker

We looked so happy,

This made me sob more,

I missed how close we all were.
