It started with a cup of coffee

The restaurant on the corner of Lyme street

Lily's POV

I look over at the clock and its 5:30pm. That gives me 2hours and 30 minutes to get ready. I put some music on and I get in the shower. After the shower I start doing my hair, I put it in 2 simple French braids. I then started on my makeup because no matter how simple of a look you go for it still takes you ages to do it. I go for something simple, nude eyes and dark lips. I then spend about 10 minutes choosing an outfit. I know its not a date or anything but I want to look nice, I finally settle on my black ripped jeans red, chequered red top and my black boots  and how could I forget Michaels scarf. It's now 7:45pm and I hear a knock on the door, I run downstairs and open it. I see my friend Lucy stood at the door with about 20 dog bones (she is looking after Macy)

-Whattt? I thought Macy might go hungry. She says. Lucy loves dogs she always spoils them

-Okay she can have 2 bones tonight but put the rest in the dog draw with the other 50 bones you bring every time you come to my house. I say laughing.

-Oh my gosh Lily look at the time its 7:55pm you better get going don't worry about Macy I have every thing under control here. She says as she shuts the door in my face.

I start walking to Joes, I don't need to drive as it is only 5 minutes away. It was really nice outside which makes a change as it is normally always raining here. I turn around the corner and I see Michael stood out side Joes.

-Hey Lily great to see you again. He says smiling while giving me a bunch of rose's. Wow the rose's almost look as beautiful as his smile. Lily stop thinking like that after tonight you will never see him again.

-Wow Michael these rose's are beautiful but there was really no need to buy me the. I say blushing a little.

-No I did need to buy them you I ruined a good top and I wasn't sure what size top you were so roes were the next best thing, I hope you like them.

-Like them I love them.

-So should we go inside and order some food. He says hold the door open for me.

Once we were seated at our table we both ordered some drinks and I ordered the pasta with a side of fries and he ordered a pizza. After that we just talked to our food came

-Pasta with a side of large fries and a Fanta orange.

-That's mine. I say sounding a little embarrassed with how much I ordered.

-So the pizza and diet coke must be for you sir.

-Yes thank you.

Wow for a girl you sure eat a lot. I blush when he says this. I like it all girls normally eat now are salads its not right. 

-I know right why starve yourself to be skinny when you can enjoy the food you eat and just do a little more exercise to keep the weight of that's what I do and anyway why should I care what people think of me as long as I love myself it doesn't matter. I say probably to fast for him to hear me.

- I think its amazing you feel that way about yourself not many people think like that in this society your boyfriend is a really lucky man to have a girl like you in is life.

-Umm I don't have a boyfriend, I know what your thinking but every guy I date is a total ass. So how about you does your girlfriend know you are here tonight.

-I don't have a girlfriend I suppose I've never meet the right girl.

-Oh ok. I say trying not to sound to happy.

For the rest of the night we just ate our food and talked, we have so much in common and he is a really great guy. I am trying so hard not to fall for him but its hard he is so perfect but they all are at first. I am scared to fall for him in case there is no one there to catch me when I do fall.

-So I guess I should say goodnight. Michael says.

-Yeah. Oh wait a minute this is yours I believe. I say handing him back his scarf.

-Thanks glad to know I could help. Its been really nice getting to know you tonight maybe we could do this again sometime.

-Yeah I would like that. I say  

Well I have to say I have never had a better night in all my life, for once in my life I feel happy.
