The Truth About Fox River

Lily's POV

-You have never really told me about your past, why did you move to England? What did you do when you lived in America? Michael takes in a deep breath and sits down in the chair next to me

-Well.. Is Michael actually going to tell me the truth.

Michaels POV

-Well...When my mother passed away I received some money so I decided to re-educate myself and I got a job as a structural engineer, little after a year of working there I was promoted to the head of the office. Then about 4 months ago I got offered a job but it was over in England, I have always wanted to move to England so this was the perfect opportunity to do so, so I packed my bags and moved here and that's all there really is to tell.  I know I should be telling Lily the truth about Fox River and all that but I've just got her back and I don't want to ruin anything, so for now I just wont tell her. I look over at Lily and I see that she is crying.

-Lily are you okay what's up?

-I gave you chance to tell me the truth Michael but time after time you keep lying to me, I don't know why you just cant be honest with me. She cant even look me in the eyes.

-What are you talking about Lily. I say really confused.

-Im talking about your past, why do you keep lying about it? ... I know about Fox River Michael. She whispers, my heart drops how did she find out?

-I...I don't know what your talking about. I lie.

-Yes you do Michael.. Theodore told me everything, about how you helped him and other criminals like killers break out of prison, about how you stole 5 million dollars and how people died because of you. I could not believe Tea Bag he always finds away to ruin my life even if he is not here.

Lily's POV

-You believe everything Tea Bag says he is just trying to get inside your head.

-So everything Theodore said was a lie so you never went to prison then, you never stole £5 million. Michael cant even look at me, he looks ashamed and embarrassed.

-Um... Well.

-Well what Michael did it or didn't it happen? I was starting to become really annoyed he keeps avoiding the question, if he just told me the truth from the beginning I would of been okay with it.

-It did happen but not in the way you think or in the way Tea Bag has told you, you shouldn't trust him Lily.

-At this moment in time I don't know if I can trust you at least Theodore was honest with me, that's more then you can say.

-You don't know why I did what I did in America, im not proud of it but I had to do it.

-Then tell me Michael, did you think I would leave you when I found out that I would stop loving you, if you just told me the truth. I spat. Michael was really starting to annoy me he still hasn't told me the whole truth.

-Well I am sorry Lily but because of my past I have had a hard time trusting people. Michael says staring to raise his voice.

-Then why don't you just tell me the truth now its the perfect time. I shout at him.

-You really want to know what happened Lily, my brother was framed for the murder of the vice presidents brother and he was put on death row, he was to be killed by electric chair, so I got myself arrested so I could break out my brother because he was innocent, but certain things happened and we had to take people then I wanted to and I hate my self for doing that, When we got out of prison we find out hat the vice presidents brother is actually still alive, then we find out my brother son, my nephew was framed for killing his mother and step dad, when In reality it was the same people who framed my brother, we then went to get the £5 million because it was some ones who was meant to be coming with us, he died, he died so me and my brother could leave, he never got to see his daughter again as she was dying of cancer and the prison wouldn't let him see her that's the only reason he wanted to escape to see his daughter. Then I found out that my mother was not actually dead and she also wanted to kill me so yeah im sorry Lily if I have trust issues but every chance someone gets they stab me in the back. Michael was in tears now.

-Michael im sorry I didn't kno-

-Forget it Lily. Michael then picks up his coat and leaves the room leaving me all alone thinking of what he had just told me.

I finally understand why Michael didn't want to tell me the truth about Fox River and I hate myself for dragging it out of him I should of let him tell me in his own time.
