This story is based on a real band in Florida. The Spirit of Jupiter is a class 4A marching band; I wrote this because the main character Vanessa, is based on my experience as a freshmen this year. I got to personally experience each section, the bands motto is One Tribe. Everyone is family, no matter what. Despite our differences - everyone is treated equally.
