Chapter 15: A Nice Drive

After the baby shower

I'm sorry, but I had no idea what to put for the baby shower so I'm skipping that part. Love you guys!! '^~^

I yawned tiredly, looking at my watch. My eyes widened at the time: A quarter past 4:00 p.m. Has it really been that long? I mean, the baby shower started at like, 8 o'clock in the morning. Holy cow.

Shadow and Amy left just a few minuets ago, Shadow saying something about needing groceries, or something like that. I honestly think they were trying to get back to his house so they could finish what they started when I interrupted them. (Troll face) ((Lol, I dont even know. XD))

With Shadow And Amy...

Shadow

As I drove through town, I heard Amy sigh in the passengers seat. I glanced over at her, her face reading nothing but boredom or sadness, I couldn't really tell. I looked back to the road ahead of me, the light coming up turning red.

As I slowed to a stop, I noticed the small raindrops starting to fall on the windshield. I flipped on the windshield wipers. The sound of them squeaking driving me insane. God I need to get them fixed. I swear this car was as old as I was.

It was an 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 (the one above). A very nice car, I'll admit that. But it was not cheap, especially the fact of how old it was. 

But enough about that. As we still waited for that damn light to turn green I decided that now would be a good time to ask what was wrong. "So.... whats on your mind?" I asked, glancing at her. She shrugged, and rested her head on my shoulder. "I guess I'm just tired." she yawned. 

I smirked and kissed her forehead. A loud honk from behind us was heard and we both jumped. I looked back in front of me and saw that the light had finally turned green. We both laughed as I continued to drive.

As our laughter calmed, Amy asked, " Where are we going anyways?" I smirked. "I told you, were going grocery shopping." As she intertwined our fingers she said, "I thought that was just an excuse to get out of there." I scoffed, "Sure it was." She pushed me playfully, "Shut up. I didn't know."
