My alarm went off, the same old three beat sound was playing. The same one I heard back in Florida.
I slapped it off after groggily opening my eyes.

I slid out of my barely-put-together bed and made my way into my bathroom.
The bad thing about this house is that I have to share a bathroom with Riley.

The door was already shut, a yellow light illuminating the bottom of the floor around it.

I groaned as I headed back into my room. I guess I have to pick my clothes out. I chose an everyday black crop top, light blue jeans, and a pair of marroon vans.

After rethinking that this is a new start. To be someone that isn't me,to make a better first impression,I threw on a sweatshirt.

Yes, I know, wearing a sweatshirt makes things WORSE.

But it doesn't. It just cov- "Emmmie! Bathrooms ready!!" I heard Rily pipe up.

"Okay," I said, more to myself then her. I turned on the shower, striped from my clothes and slipped under the water. It was warm and I enjoyed every second of it.

The morning flew by, and before I knew it, I was hoping into my own, run down car, driving Riley to her elementary school.

"Have a good day!" I say, like a parent. "Okay! You too."

We exchanged goodbyes and I skidded off after an angry parent honked their horn, anxious to drop their own kid off.

I park my car about a mile away at this new high school.

I went through everything I had to do and got out of the car.

I tripped.

Great.

Just make a habit out of it, I say sarcastically in my head.

I pushed myself up, rolling my eyes. I really hope no one saw that.

My stomach grumbled, oh reminding me of my lack of breakfast: I had none.

I pushed the thought of food away and entered the building that said Office.

"Emily Class." I stated to the lady that looked in charge.

Jet black hair, grey streaks accenting it, glasses, a black jacket with the school logo, a jaguar on it.

"Oh... ah ha... new student... here you go Ms.Class."

"thank you," I took the slip of paper and walked into the campus.

Science, reading writing, social studies, lunch, math, pe. Thank god I have pe last.

I went up to my locker and checked the passcode. I entered it and opened it up.

It was a dark green locker almost in the middle of a hallway, with two doors at the end and another connecting hallway behind me, leading into the cafeteria.

I shoved my back pack in and got out a science textbook they gave me.

I had noticed when I peered around my shoulder, more people have come.

I slammed the locker and turned around.

Not knowing there would be a blond awaiting me.
