Chapter 9

"Wayne left this morning."

"What do you mean he left this morning? He owes me money!" 

The big guy that watches over me didn't wanna talk to anyone so Wayne left me here to deal with his visitors. They just keep coming and coming and won't stop talking.

"I don't know what to tell you, hes not gonna be back for a while so you should try again tomorrow...or don't."

"You need to get that little dick on the phone so I can-"

"Chief get him out of here he's annoying me." I called over to the big guy.

"Got it." He came and dragged the man out of the house and I just sat there and waved him off.

"Ms. Foster someone else is here to see Wayne."

"If he wants money don't let him in."

"It's the opposite actually, he owes Wayne money." I motioned for him to let him in. When the guy came in he just started taking out money before looking up at me.

"So we agreed on 200-" he stopped himself when he saw me."Your not Wayne."

"No, but give me the money anyway."

"Who are you?"

"Why do you care?"

"Don't answer my question with a question."

"My names Lilac."

"Last name."

"Too much information."

"Last name."

"Foster."

"I knew it."

I just looked at him confused and he said something to the big guy which made him nod and leave.

"Why are you with Wayne?" He said walking over to me.

"Well I didn't volunteer to be here, he won't let me leave."

"We need to take you home."

"I don't even know who you are."

"That doesn't matter, I know who you are and I'm telling you we need to leave. Wayne gets a little psycho when hes with someone too long."

I scoffed and looked at the ground. "Yeah no kidding."

"Come on Lilac." He lifted me up off the couch bridal style and carried me outside.

"What the hell, put me down! I can't just go home you know."

"Well you can stay with me."

"Your a fucking STRANGER."

"I'm really not." He mumbled under his breath but loud enough for me to hear.

When we got outside I saw a familiar car pull up into the driveway. When the person got out of the car I saw Wayne coming this way with anger in his eyes.

"What the hell are you doing with her Jackson!"

"I'm sorry man but you can't have this one." After he said that Wayne got really pissed. But within 2 seconds flat he was knocked to the ground unconscious from a brick being thrown at his head by Chris.

The man had put me down only for me to be picked up again by Chris.

"Lilac are you okay? I'm sorry I took so long to get here." He stopped talking and looked over at that Jackson man."Who the hell are you?"

"Oh, right, my names Alex." He held his hand out for Chris to shake but Chris didn't move at all.

"Yeah so were gonna go, nice meeting you Alex."
