The Secret Of The Wannabe Superstar

So, since I'm not a total superstar. I decided that I'd just be a local somebody. So, I sing every Tuesday at this restaurant. Until one night. I was singing and after I was finished a man came up to me.

"Excuse me. Candy right?" He said.

I looked back to see a man in a suit.

"Hello, I'm Max. I'd like to have you sing for my record company." He said.

"Really? I've always wanted to be a superstar!!!" I said.

"Yes, I see that you really have potential." Max said.

"Sure. I'd be glad to!!" I said.

"Here's the address for the studio you'll be working in. A guy named Blake, will be there and will be your recording manager. Good luck, Candy." Max said then leaving.

I looked at the paper in my hands.

'I've been discovered!! Finally, I knew this place would help me. Oh, I should go tell to Dan!!'

I ran out the doors of the restaurant. I ran to Dan's house.

Dan is my best friend. I knocked on his door out of breath.

Dan opened the door. "Candy? What are you doing here?" Dan asked looking at me hunched over.

I handed him the address.

"What's this?" Dan asked taking the paper. Dan looked at the paper. "A studio address? Candy? You got discovered!!!" Dan said.

"Yeah!!! I knew singing at that restaurant would help." I said.

"Congratulations Candy." Dan said.

"Dan, I want you to come stay with me and be my manager." I said.

Dan looked at me. "I don't know Candy." Dan said.

"Come on!!! Dan, I can't do this without you!!" I said.

"Alright I guess." Dan said.

"Yay!!!!!! Thanks Dan..." I said then yawning.

"Come in you can spend the night at my place." Dan said.

"Thanks." I said walking in.

"There's a room at the end of the hall on the right you can sleep there." Dan said.

"Okay." I said walking down the ball and opening the door. I was amazed the room looked just like my room at my house.

'What the??' I thought but, I was too sleepily to really think about what I'd just saw. I laid down and quickly fell asleep.
