I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off on my nightstand. I rolled over to my side and turned it off. I looked at Jasmine still sleeping peacefully in my bed. I nudged her side trying to wake her up, but she wouldn't budge.
"Jasmine, come on. It's time to get up." I said nudging her side
She groaned before turning her body my way. Her eyes slowly fluttered open.
I smirked to myself watching her wake up.
"Why are you waking me up so early?" She questioned, sounding a little groggy.
"It's time to get up for school. So get up, I don't want to be late." I said throwing the covers back.
She looked over at the clock sitting on my nightstand and sighed heavily. She got out of the bed, and grabbed some stuff to take a shower with, and walked into the bathroom.

"Hey have you seen Jaydah today?" Bianca whispered to me.
We were currently in math class. We're supposed to be doing our work quietly since our teacher didn't feel well today and didn't want to deal with our loudness. Bianca was sitting across from me, and Jasmine was sitting beside me listening to her music paying us no mind. I didn't even notice Jaydah wasn't here today. She wasn't here at all this week, at first I thought maybe she was sick, but now I have this eerie feeling.
"No. She hasn't been here all week. I tried texting her a few times but she didn't respond so I figured she was sick and didn't feel like being bothered with anybody. You haven't talked to her?" I questioned
"No. I'll go check on her after school. Do you want to come with me?"
"I'll go tomorrow. I got some errands to do after school. Tell her to text me or call me when she gets a chance."
"Okay I will."
The bell rung for lunch. Everybody began to grab there things, and rushed out of the classroom.
"Alright class, there's no homework tonight. Have a good rest of the day." Mrs. Whittington said quickly before everybody left the room.
I grabbed my phone and books, and left out of the room. I walked down the almost empty hallway. I seen Jasmine waiting for me by my locker earning a small smirk from me.
"Hey. Why are you standing by my locker?" I asked while opening it up, and putting my stuff in my locker. I grabbed my purse and car keys before closing my locker.
"I don't want to eat lunch here, and since we're getting along I don't want everybody in my business, so I want to take you out to lunch. If that's okay with you...?"
"Yeah sure that's fine. Where do you want to go?" I asked
"Whatever you want princess." She said smirking
I laughed at her foolishness and started walking down the hallway towards the exit.
"Let's go to Newk's Eatery. Their food is really good."
"Okay. I'll drive."
I followed her out of the school and into the parking lot. There were a couple of students standing by there cars, talking to each other. Once they seen Jasmine and I walking together, they all started staring and whispering. People were so typical now and days. I was sure by the end of the day, there would be a dumb rumor about us.
