Chapter 8

A week has passed since Ally and Lauren decided to take it slow. Ally's been trying to get it on with the mute girl but Lauren knew too well that this wouldn't help her connect with the small one. They did make some progress though now that Camila was out of the way. They actually had time to chat and get to know each other without any problems as normal individuals would do.

The media was buzzing about these two but Ally confronted them telling them they're just friends... for now. Lauren was proud of Ally and that made their friendship grow more and more. Maybe she should stand up and talk to her. It's time that Ally knows about her past.

Lauren was waiting patiently for the small one to finish with her makeup. Today was the Grammy awards and both of the girls were invited. Mostly because Ally was nominated for three awards. Best female artist of the year, best album of the year, and best song of the year. Lauren was proud of the small one for all the hard work she did to make it here.

Lauren was wearing a black tuxedo. (Like what Demi wore) Her makeup was a bit heavy to show her green perplexing eyes.

When Ally got out of the room Lauren's jaw dropped. Ally looked gorgeous, more than usual. Her hair was in a ponytail this time and her eyeliner perfectly showed her brown soft eyes, complementing the black dress she's wearing.

Ally giggles and kisses Lauren's cheek. "You look gorgeous too Lauren." Ally says looking at her up and down. Lauren smiles proudly, very satisfied that she impressed Ally. She slowly extends her hand out to Ally.

The small girl chuckles and goes along with Lauren's little suggestion. They weren't at the hotel room, they were at Ariana's condo. Ari suggested they should help each other out with the makeup and outfits which both accepted immediately.

They weren't enemies no more and now they're best friends. Ari and Camila cleared their crimes to Lauren and Ally. It took two days to accept their apology but it all worked out. Ariana and Camila cleared the media as well.

Ariana told them she wasn't dating Camila.
She confessed to them about her relationship with Selena. As for Camila, she's with Alessia right now somewhere off in the blue. Alessia didn't get invited to the Grammys but she promised she would go to the after party with Camila. Better luck next time.

"Shall we go?" Lauren asks which shocked Ally. She spoke to her again. Lauren quirks an eyebrow at the small one. "You okay Als?" Ally smiles and nods her head. "It's just that....you're speaking!" Ally exclaims. Lauren rolls her eyes and escorts Ally to the limbo waiting for them.

"Hey Lauren and Als!" Ariana chirps running up to us but almost tripping if Selena hadn't caught her. They both hugged each other. Selena was in awe and had this goofy smile on her face. Lauren and Ally smiled back at Selena before letting Ari go.

"You guys already know me." Selena says. They went to hug her as well. Selena chuckles and embraces them like teddy bears. Soon they let go and go to the red carpet where many interviewers and cameras will be there. Lauren tenses a bit. This wasn't something she's use to at all. Ally looks up at Lauren knowing the feeling too well, "Don't be afraid Lo, just stay cool." Lauren looks down at the small girl. Ally starts leaning in making Lauren do the same.

Soon their lips were connected perfectly on each other. The kiss was quick but full of love. Lauren pecks Ally's lip before taking her hand and making their way to the carpet. Many cameras flashed before them and some paparazzi were yelling questions. Lauren wrapped her arms around Ally's waist and kissed her cheek.

Many more flashes came and everyone was screaming like crazy. They stood there posing for about thirty minutes before talking to other celebrities. Lauren gasped as she sees her one and only idol, Lana Del Rey. Lauren starts panicking which makes Ally laugh. "Let's go if you want Lo." Ally says.

Lauren just stands there staring at the queen before her. Ally drags Lauren to speak to the woman. Lana turns her head and smiles at the both of them. Lauren almost faints but steadies herself. Lana chuckles, "A big fan of mines. Ally you chose a wonderful bodyguard and muse." Ally giggles and looks down trying to hide her face. Lauren smiles at Lana before showing her phone to her.

Lana smiles back and takes the picture with Lauren. The green eyed girl squeals inside like a fan girl. "Well girls good luck with the wins. I need to go now, bye!" She says waving off before walking to the crowd. Lauren looks at Ally with a goofy grin on her face.

After all of the red carpet and greetings it was finally time to sit down in the furnished red sparkling chairs to see the performances and awards on the massive stage. Ally's been hoping to snatch a few Grammys from Taylor or from Ariana. These two were the most to be nominated at every Grammy event. It was actually getting kind of boring seeing them go on the stage.

Lauren keeps a close eye on everything. Something in her gut tells her she's going to lose something. The first award was announced but Ally wasn't in it. She turns to her left and spots a guy tapping his finger impatiently on his knee. Lauren furrows her eyebrows but turns back. She sighs and thinks she's going crazy.

Ally slowly turns to Lauren with an eyebrow raised. "Everything alright babe?" The small one asks gently holding Lauren's hand. Lauren nods and looks back at the stage where Justin Bieber was performing. The pale girl smiles once he finishes his performance. Everyone starts clapping and then silence. Lauren turns back at where the strange man was sitting but he was gone.
