(y/n) POV

What to do this weekend....hmmm... How about sit in my room blasting music like always! Sounds like a plan!

"Hey, (y/n)! What are you planning on doing this weekend?" (b/f/n) asked running over to me.

"Probably just stay home, unless you wanna do something." I replied, honestly hoping she wanted to do something...anything.

"Well," she started, looking more excited than usual. "I may or may not have gotten us and (o/b/f/n) tickets for Battle of the Bands tomorrow night!"

We both screamed and jumped up and down, ecstatic. Going to see live music together, even if it was sponsored by the school, had always been something we promised each other we'd do someday. Now that (b/f/n) had made that dream a reality, there was only one more thing I was wondering: Was he gonna be there?

"And, I checked the set list," she continued. "So just in case you were wondering, yes, that guy you saw in the coffee shop, Frosted Tuna was it?" (real one-man-band that doesn't exist anymore. Google it! He's now a member of Static Charmer, a duo between him and his best friend)

I gasped and clamped my hands over my mouth to stop myself from letting out a fangirl screech. "Yes! He's gonna be performing?! What's his place on the list?"

"He may or may not be last," she said slyly.

I squealed, ran down the hall, and did a round off in my excitement. Everyone was staring at me as if I had three heads, but I didn't care. Some even clapped, but I wasn't paying attention. Whatever they were thinking wasn't about to bring me down. In fact, nothing could've brought me down. I was a shooting star, a super nova, a hot air balloon, everything! "Best for last as I always say!" I sang atop cloud nine. Frosted Tuna was a one-man-band that did covers of old 1990's TV show theme songs and Green Day songs. When he performed at the coffee shop, he did a cover of Green Day's 21 Guns, my favorite song by them <3, and the Buffy the Vampire Slayer theme. I couldn't stop staring, and we locked eyes a few times. I went up to him afterwards and told him how good I thought he was. He thanked me, and we started talking for a while. He eventually needed to go, but before he left we exchanged cell numbers. He texted me later when he got home and we talked for hours. I hadn't heard from him since. The strangest part was, we never exchanged names. I'd gone practically a month by now, only knowing him as Frosted Tuna. "Wait, what time does it start?" I suddenly asked.

"Starts at 6, so (o/b/f/n) and I'll be by your place around 5 to help you pick out something to wear, and how much makeup to put on," (b/f/n) replied.

Okay, I should be wide awake by then. Good.

"Good idea, and if there's time to spare, which is unlikely, but if there is, we can make pancakes or something with my little sis so she doesn't have a fit over us not doing something with her," I add.

"Sounds like a plan. I'm up for it and I'm sure (o/b/f/n) will be too. Now, we'd better get to class before we're late. See ya at 5!" she says, waving goodbye.

"Later!" I say, also waving.

Time skip to Saturday at 5:

I looked out the window and saw (b/f/n) pulling into my driveway with (o/b/f/n) in the passenger seat. I quickly flew outside, hugged them both, and walked them inside.

(b/f/n) POV

After we said hello to (y/n)'s little sister, who seemed to be preoccupied with trying to beat herself at checkers, we all piled into her room and closed the door. She had four different outfits lying on her bed, and six pairs of shoes, most of them her mother's, to choose from.
