I got water on my socks today, but I love them too much to take them off, so I am doomed to suffer the eternal torture that is wet socks. Also, I will be updating whenever I can, but I only have the next weekend off, so I'll update when I can. Sowwy :3
Shout out to xxlaurenisnotonfirexx for being the only person reading this. *waves frantically* THANKS!(for the memories)
I'm sorry, I'll leave now.Gerard's POV
I managed to push past the guards, but I only got by then because they weren't expecting me to fight back. I mean, fifteen armed, trained guards against one weak, malnourished teen? Place your bet.
I ran through the castle until I found an exit, and then ran into the forest on the north side of the castle.
Shit, why did I think it would be a good idea to do this I the middle of winter? Everyone was able to see my footprints, I was freezing, and I was wearing black. Fuck.
While I was running, I was also thinking. The trees are tall, and probably easy to climb. That's how I'll get through the forest then. By the trees.
I climbed up one, and started jumping from branch to branch. Hey, if I was already risking my life, why not risk it some more? I mean, I have nothing to lose. Its not like anyone will miss me when I'm gone.
When I hear the sound of soldiers below me, I decide to double back on myself. They won't expect it. I'll be safe that way.
I kept running.
When I ran, I had to talk to myself to get the eyes of the prince out of my head.
I am machine
I never sleep
I keep my eyes wide open
I am machine
A part of me
Wishes I could feel something
I am machine
I never sleep
Until I did what's broken
I am machine
A part of me
Wishes I could just feel somethingFrank's POV
I felt the earbud that was in my ear, and immediately wondered where the other one was. So I opened my eyes.
Instead of the Fall Out Boy poster above my bed, I saw a face.
I didn't blink, afraid that if I did, the face would vanish. It belonged to a man, I was sure of that. His hair was black, and hung in front of his eyes, so that I could only see a little of them. But I did see some of the eyes.
They were beautiful.
You could see his eyes easily. They shone in the dark, so it looked like his eyes were lit from within. The rest of him faded into the dark.
They were hazel, with gold flecks that caught the light, making them look one a kaleidoscope. Funny, I had never realized how beautiful the color hazel was.
But I knew that he was here for a reason. And anyone who enters this place at night is not here for a good reason. So I pushed the alarm by my bed. The button I always thought was a waste of space, the button that could be saving my life right now.
The soldiers burst through the door, and in an instant, I saw the man- no, boy, no... What should I call him? He ran away. That's what's important.
Three of the guards stayed behind, to explain who he was, and to make sure there wasn't anyone else.
"Who was that?" I ask, knowing that nobody else knows, that they will give me a false answer.
"Honestly, we don't know. But since he came through your window, we can only assume he was going to assasinate you."
Maybe I was wrong.
Maybe this guy is tougher than he looks.
I mean, who would try to kill someone of the royal family?
But maybe I'm right.
Yeah, okay. I'm writing this chapter
without any prior knowledge about what will come next.To everyone who knows me:
Yes I do swear, only it's in my head.
To everyone in general:
The lyrics above are from 'I Am Machine' by Three Days Grace, who I just started listening to today. You should listen to them too.
I have Message Man stuck I my head. Don't know where that came from.
