Breath in breath out, small (y/n) chanted in her head. She clutched her blanket tight as she heard the rain pound and the wind howl just outside her window.
A quick flash of light then following a loud thunderous boom echoed in the night. (y/n) squealed in fear. She thought being afraid of thunderstorms was very unawesome of her. What would her Vati think?
Vati would feel ashamed because it's very unawesome, (y/n) thought as she jumped to conclusions.
She then heard another loud boom. (Y/N) she let out another squeal as tears pricked her eyes. She was shuttering under her blanket, having a war in her head to ethier stay or go to her Vati to seek comfort.
Just as she heard another boom she scrambled out of bed and down the hall to her Vati's study.
Gilbert/Prussia POV
The door slammed open and I lifted my head from my paperwork. What I saw was my (y/n) running up to me as tears threatened to fall. I scooped her up quickly started to rock (y/n).
"What's wrong (nickname)? You can tell the awesome me." I said gently as I rocked her.
She buried her head into my shoulder "I am scarfed. It's so unawesome." She sniffed
"There is nothing wrong with being scared darling." I reassured her. "Want me to lay with you?" She nodded her head quickly.
I made my down the hall into her bed room. I gently lay her down then lay next to her. She cuddles into my side just as the thunder booms. I hear her squeal and I pull (y/n) tight.
"Shhh Vati has you (y/n). I have you." I say as I stroke her (h/l) (h/c).
