Percy's POV

"Percy and Annabeth, please follow me." Chiron called out to me. I wonder what he needs. I look down at Annabeth and she nods. I help her up and hold her hand as we  follow Chiron.

I just hope it's not another prophecy, cause if it is fuck this shit.As we get into the big hose Chiron turns to us.

"I am sorry to do this to you but all are satyrs are spread thin trying to find demigods. so I need the two of you to go to (random state) at (random town) and find this demigod. She is a young girl with (h/c) and (e/c). Two satyers have died trying to retrieve her."

Annabeth squeezes my Hand. Chiron rubs his eyes "she is 6 or 7, she goes to (school name). She is surrounded by many monsters so be careful"

"We will Chiron, when do we leave?" Annabeth asks "Tomorrow morning, I am sure you can drive there in the strawberry van"

Time skip

We have arrived at (town name). It's a small town with cute little shops lining the avenue.

"How do we even find the girl? It's like a umm nettle in a hay stack!" I asked Annabeth.

"Well Chiron said there was a lot of monsters around her. So I would lure the monsters to us and force them to tell us where the girl is at. Then..." After sometime I zone out, the yummy blue cupcakes...

"Seaweed brain did you get that?" She asks with brows raised "uh yeah totally!" She rolls her eyes but has a small smirk on her face.

Time skip again

"Tell us where the girl is at!" I shove my sword closer to the storm spirt as Annabeth holds it from behind.

"Fine,fine! Jeez! She lives at (address), the old run down house. Her name is (y/n) You happy?" Annabeth lets him go. As he leaves he sticks his tongue out.

Now that we have that information we make our way to (address). As we get there, the house is run down and white paint peeling from the porch.

Annabeth knocks at the door and a tall slightest chubby man opens it. He is bald and looks like he smokes 5 pack a day.

"What do you want?" His voice is raspy as he eyes Annabeth in a creepy way. I grip her hand and eye him down.

"We are here for (y/n)-" he cut me off.

"Are you social workers?! (Y/n) if you called them your dead!" He yelled angered.

"No we are here for uhh...homework help." I lied

He narrows his eyes and lets us in "is (y/n) your daughter?" Annabeth asks.

"No way in hell" he shakes his bald head "My sisters daughter, she just up and left me with this bitch." He spat bitterly.

I clenched my fists. I so badly wanted to punch him. Annabeth squeezed my hand and gave me a warning look.

"(Y/n)! You have visitors! No funny business!" He yelled as he plopped down in an old ratty chair.

Just then (y/n) came running down the stairs. "Hello, who are you two?"

"I am Annabeth and this dork here is Percy. We are here for homework help." Annabeth winked at the end. (Y/n) smiled. "I must have forgotten!"

Then we explained things to the both of them.

"Take her away! I always knew you were a freak!" She sniffs and gets up with us.

"Let's get your stuff" I say gently as I put her hand on her shoulder. She nods.

As we got her stuff a hellhound jumps through the window and starts snarling at us. (Y/n) lets out a scream and scrambles away.

"Run! We need to get to open ground." Annabeth yells as she picks up (y/n) stuff and runs.

As soon as we get outside, I uncap riptide and plunge my sword into its chest. Then it bursts into gold dust. I see multiple monsters coming towards us. We jump into the car. The tires screech as we speed away.

(Y/n) is crying into Annabeth. "Shhh it's alright, everything is fine now" she says as she rubs circles on her back.

Big Time skip

It has been three days and (y/n) has not been claimed. I know she's not 13 or older so she doesn't have to be claimed yet. But really you should still claim her.

She was quite nervous around people, that I could tell. She always tried to be with people she knew. That includes Annabeth, Travis, Connor, and I.

"(Y/n) want to head to the bonfire?" I yelled out to her as she was drawing under a tall pine.

She looks up and smiles "Yeah! One second." Her little legs run up to Annabeth and I. "Ready!"

"Want a piggy back?! It will be so fun I promise!" I exclaim. "Yeah!" She climbs up.

"Race us Annabeth please!" I say with my baby seal face.

"Ugg fine you children. Ready set go!" I take off running with (y/n) laughing in my ear. Annabeth over takes us and crosses over to the bonfire.

"Nuu!" (Y/n) exclaims as she gets off. Annabeth chuckles and leads us over to a place to sit.

We are all singing horribly to a campfire song. Then suddenly there's a soft sea green light. I look over to (y/n) and see a trident over her head. Everyone gasps and I gape like a fish.
