Belladonna:

How did this happen? How did this happen? Well where do I start? I guess the best place to start would be where I left off, I guess, before I went into labour and when Graham Vixen found me with Elisabeth.

“Nice to finally meet you.” He said to me as he came closer and I held my hand up to him to get ready to use my magic on him. Elisabeth held on to me and looked from me to him before elongating her fangs in warning.

“I can’t say the same. You’ve turned my life upside down and come after my family.” I growled at him.

“Well, I couldn’t let the prophecy come true.” He told me simply as he came over to me and I held up my hand to create a force field like a brick wall in front of us. It would only hold for a little while.

“Tell me, what does this prophecy say?”

“Seeing as you won’t make it out of here, there’s no harm in telling.” He came forward again and pulled out a syringe before pouring some sort of green liquid on to my force field, which melted it and I growled at the fact that he had this anti-magic syringe. “Born from the union of a witch and vampire, the child of destiny shall change all and powers over all will no longer rule. The council of vampires will fall and vampires will see how hellish they are. This child will have more power than any other and the parents will be one. This child will lead all in a civil war that will change the world.”  He told me and I worried about how much my child had to deal with.

“So you want my son because he’ll end you?!”

“I can’t lose the power I’ve spent years building up to some baby.” He said with such disgust in his voice.

“How about losing your life to the mother of that baby?” I asked before he got too close and I scratched down his face. I put all my weight and my anger behind the scratch, which caused long scars down his face and blood to fall down his face. He yelped out and cried as he put a hand to his face, which gave me a chance to run. “Go! Go!” I screamed at Elisa and we ran the other way. Well she ran and I waddled.

I could hear the groan and the angry moan of Graham Vixen from behind me, which made me look behind and see that he was glaring up at me. He ran towards me and I muttered a curse at him before throwing it towards him. It blinded the hallway in light and caused him to shrink away into the darkness of Elisabeth’s cell.

We ran out of the hallway and up a few floors to the main warden’s room. No one was in here and I went over to the control panel. I looked at all the nobs and buttons on the control panel before looking at the big red button that said ‘OPEN ALL CELLS’. I knew that it may not be the smartest thing, but it would stop the council leader from finding me for now with a bunch of hungry, rabid vampires after him. I looked at Elisabeth and sighed before slamming my hand down on to the button. There was an almighty screech and red lights started flashing like the top of a police car.

I heard a click and a bang as all of the cell doors in the entire place were opened followed by carnage, straight carnage as they started fighting. These vampires were hungry and with the amount of hungry vampires that they had in here, soon blood and body pieces would be flying. Bella didn’t know how she was going to find Sterling and get out of here without Graham finding her.

The door to the control room was smashed open and guards came rushing in, but were quickly grabbed by feral and hungry vampires who wanted to feed. Shit, feed. I’m human or at least half and my blood is pumping twice as much because of my baby. Maybe this wasn’t my smartest plan.
