Recap:

"Mum." I whispered out as I went over to her and fell to my knees beside her. She had fallen back into unconsciousness and I cried beside her, calling out for my dad or anyone in my family.

13 years on

Kellien's POV:

I didn't think I'd make it out of that warehouse that night. I have never lived down what I did even though I killed the man who had been after us for so long. I'm 18 now and still my family doesn't let me live down what I did at 5. They make me tell them every time I'm going out and when I'm using magic, but I guess in a way I deserve it, I did almost get my mum killed.

Flashback:

After the fight with Graham when I was kneeling beside my mum calling for my family, my dad came running around the corner looking pretty beaten up and he cried as he looked at mum. I told him I was so sorry for what I had done and he picked mum up, telling me to follow him as we left the warehouse.

Uncle Sterling and Granddad were outside, having beaten up the vampires that were downstairs. They were covered in blood and had a few scratches and burn marks, but they were okay and alive. They looked a lot better than my mum. Aunt Elisa was the only one who was not beaten or hurt. Granddad picked me up and dad held on to mum as we ran back home.

My nan cooed over me while dad, granddad and aunt Elisa went to fix my mum. My nan took me to her en-suite bathroom and ran me a hot bath. Nan washed me and cleaned up any cuts I had from the fight I'd just been through. She put alcohol on my cuts and disinfected me. I hissed in pain and looked up at my nan. She looked worried at how badly beaten up I looked and I just cried into her arms.

Later that night I was allowed to go and see my mum. She had been cleaned up, bandaged up and was hooked up to machines and IVs. She was still asleep, but at least her heart was still beating. She was slowly healing herself up, but I also worried about how the baby was and I went over to my mum crying as I did. I told her how sorry I was and how much I regret what I did, but that I had gotten rid of Graham.

My dad told me that the baby was still alive, narrowly and that mum needed to be watched incase she took a turn for the worse. My mum was in a coma for about 2 weeks and when she finally came around she was slow on the recovery. She had to do therapy to walk again and she was very sore. Mum and dad were angry at me for running off and not coming to them for help, so I got severly grounded and wasn't allowed to train to fight or go near the weapons for years.

Eventually I was allowed to start working out with the weapons again, but I had never been so watched in all my life. I'm just glad that I'm not being chased anymore.

Belladonna's POV:

After my coma, I spent the rest of my time not only learning how to walk and get my strength up again, but also focus on my pregnancy, which later on we found out was a girl and we called her Nova Annie Elisa Nicholai. Nova developed like a normal child would just like Riley did and it was nice not to have to run all over the place anymore.

Once I was back on my feet and after Nova was born, we moved back to Oregon and I fixed my relationship with my mother, Marista and she was so happy to spend time with Kellien and Nova. It was nice to be back in Oregon and back where I was born, where I met Dante and where my life began.

My son is very watched and we watch him to make sure that he doesn't do anything like he did before and also we watch him to make sure that he can have a normal life because the prophecy was still unfulfilled as he hadn't take the position yet.
