Guy's Laughter?!?!

Amber's POV

I hear a knocking on my door and then Max's voice. "You okay in there, Amber?" He sounds worried, yet jealous. I get a 'look' as I open the door (Not from Max). Max peers behind me as I give him a confused look. His eyes settle on something and I get confused look from him. I cough and he mutters that he just wanted to make sure I wasn't in trouble. Then, he goes to his apartment and I go back to movie night.

I walk into work on Monday and walk into my office. I start spinning around in circles until Adam barges in. "AMBER!" "YES!" I'm still very dizzy and confused. "Seven second challenge round two!" "OKAY!" "Name all of your boyfriends... go!" "Clay and... Max." "Ok- wait... Max?" "Not the Max in this office! A Max I used to go to school with!" "Where did you go to school at?" Max suddenly appears in my office. "(Leaving this blank), in good old Wisconsin!" I say, using my southern accent. "Wait, was Max that guy last night?" "N-No" I can feel the tears start to prick at my eyes. "What's wrong?" Adam turns off the camera. "M-Max (the other one), he-he died in a car c-crash!" I start to bawl my eyes out. "O-Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" "I-It's okay, we were dating for two years, and then he-he died." "Do you need some time alone?" "Yes please!" As soon as they leave, you call Clay, the guy who was over last night. He was Max's best friend, and had comforted you when Max died. (Again, in most of this, I was talking about the other Max!!!) Clay cheers you up, and then offers to come to the offices to visit you. You go into Adam's office to ask him first. He agrees, probably thinking you needed that, but you were super exited that Clay was coming to visit. He says he will come in about an hour.
