As soon as we reach the car, Amber calls shotgun, even though it's just me and her. Oh, I forgot Ross used to do that all the time... "So," I try to distract myself, "Is Clay your boyfriend?" I wiggle my eyebrows. "Haha, nope" she looks into the distance. "Oh..." "I mean, he's great and all, but he's not my type." "Type?" "Yeah" "So, what is your 'type'" I make quotation marks in the air. "You know, the nerdy, gamer, YouTuber type." Oh my gosh! Was she flirting? Just the thought made my palms sweaty. "So, like Red, right?" She giggles. "Well, I was kinda thinking of a different red head..." "Hmm... well, I don't know any other red heads..." "hmm... not even one that is right here?" You gasp dramatically, "You mean... My Black Canary plush doll? I thought she loved me!" She starts to giggle again, "No, silly, I mean an actually person..." "And if this actual person asked you out, you would say..." "I guess he'll have to find out..." I decided I would play her little game, "So, Amber..." "Yeah, Max?" "Would you like to go on a date, with me of course?" "No..." "W-What?!?!" Oh geez! I asked too soon, didn't I?!?! Oh n- my thoughts were cut off short,"... girl would be stupid enough to say 'no'" she giggles. "You. Gave. Me. A. Heart. Attack." "So... No date?" "Oh no, there will be a date!" "When?" "Tomorrow night!" "Well, that's settled!" "Yes it is!"

Whew! Just glad I didn't have to do a cliffhanger there! Anyways, after this book, I think I may do an 'Adopted by Adam/Skydoesminecraft' fanfic. What do you guys think?
