Chapter 9

Hey, agents, I forgot to tell you, but my birthday was last month on February first. I turned fourteen! This is a scary thought but in a year I'll be able to drive *shudders* watch out good people of America ( not saying a specific state)
Dani's Pov
Derek looks at me with a horrified expression,
"No, no, no, Dani let's think about this... Do you really want to do this" Derek says to me like I'm crazy.
"Yes I do, but I won't, because you're going to hand me the keys, so no one gets hurt, and when I mean no one, I mean you," I say calmly.
"Aren't you going to help me?" says Derek while pleading with Sarah.
"Nope," Sarah says, popping the "p"."
"Well, you two are both a bitch," Derek grumbles while looking for an escape.
"Well, you know what I hope you step on a Lego," I say while sticking my tongue out.
"Wow, you're sure childish," he says while mocking my insult.
"Hey you're going to be late, so I'd just let her go with you since she has nothing better to do," says Sarah, while leaning against the wall.
"Ugh, fine... But-bu-but, when I'm talking, you can't interrupt." Says Derek.
"Fine, but Baby comes with us," I say, grinning ear to ear.
Derek doesn't bother to object, and we head to the car with me smiling smugly.
We reached the precinct, and I my face went pale. Derek seemed to realize this, so he stopped me right in front of the interrogation room.
"Hey, you don't have to go in there... But if you want to, you can at any time." Derek says snatching my hand so I pay attention.
Derek enters the interrogation room and I catch a glance of the man who ruined my life. I start to break down, and Baby comes to comfort me. I come back to reality after a couple minutes with only one thing on my mind, he will pay.
I enter the interrogation room, and my father's murderer smirks back at me. My straight face twitches, but I grin at his reaction when he sees Baby.
"How are you doing Mrs. Dani, the family still dead? How's the therapy, or did your mother never let you go? Speaking of your mother, how is she anyway still hating you? That must make you hate her. Eh, I wouldn't blame you I always thought she was a bit-"
"Hey, you don't talk, unless we ask you to!" Derek says while slamming his fist against the metal table.
" ooh, feisty I like him," says David.
I clear my throat to get David's attention.
"Mr. Herandez, you have been read your rights, yet you still don't want an attorney.  You will help us, with taking down this gang, and if you help your sentenced might be lowered." I say.
David starts to laugh, in which he began to say...
"Please I already have many life sentences under my belt, and who knows if my trail goes bad, which it probably will, I probably will be put to death.  But anyways humor me,  why will I help you?"
"One, because I won't accidentally say G.E.T in a sentence, like G.E.T David out of here, and point at you at the same time, or else Baby will think to..." I whisper the word attack, but Baby, of course, hears me and he lunges toward David, but I hold on to his leash tightly so Baby wouldn't eat David's face off, even though I wouldn't mind if he did.
I then get up and hand the leash to Derek, and then walk around and take my hand and squeeze as hard as I can, on David's dislocated shoulder. In which he groans from the pain.
"Or... I can "accidentally" tell the gangs occupants, of the prison you're going to, that you snitched. I bet they won't be too happy about that.  Even though you're a trained assassin, you can't go against 15 loyal gang members, which is exactly the amount gang members in that prison, and just so you know, they all made at least one person go the ER. And I'll just tell you not all of them survived." I say grimly.
I still clutch David's shoulder, till he cries out in pain.
"Fine, I'll help you" David screams.
And after that all I can think of is...
You aren't as tough without your gun, are you...
