I Hate You | An H2O Delirious Fan Fiction

Chapter 1

{Katie's POV}

As I walked down the hall I spotted my friends at their lockers. We were lucky enough to be able to have our lockers all super close to each other this year. I then saw my least favorite person. Delirious. We were both in the same friend group so we were forced to spend time together because neither of us would leave but it still sucked he had to be friends with Vanoss. I'm too good of friends with Kelly to leave. I began to walk to them to go talk with the girls. "The fuck are you doing? Better yet, the fuck do you exist?" Delirious sneered at me. "Well, unlike you I was planned and my family actually loves me. I mean how could you not love a face like this?"

I could tell that Del was fuming at this point so he just turned and left to his next class. "Well I won that one that's 4 for me and 5 for Delirious! Might finally pull ahead this year and win!" Every year Delirious made a bet of who owned each other more. On the last day of school whoever had more owns would be able to tell the other one what to do all summer. Delirious has consistently won from the beginning. We started in 6th grade and we are now in 10th. I've had four Summer's of torture and I don't want anymore so now I purposely pick little arguments that I'm sure I can win.

"Katieeee....hellooooo?" Kelly snaps her fingers in front of my face. "Whoops! I totally zoned out there! My bad. What did you say?" "I asked what you think you're gonna do for spring break." "Oh, well my family didn't plan anything so I'm staying here and having Netflix and chill with a tub of ice cream for break, maybe play some video games with the boys, own Delirious some more, you know the usual." "Just so you know I think most of us are going on vacation. In fact, I'm pretty sure the only ones who are staying are you and Delirious..." "Ugh! Why meeee. I don't wanna be stuck with him during break." I frowned at the thought. I mean I don't wanna hang out with him, but then again, I don't exactly wanna be alone either. "I know babe, but I'll try to face time from Cancun!" "Yeah, I guess that'll be okay."

Then, the bell rang and I headed to class. I had chemistry first with Mr. Zeck. I also had a few people from the group in with me: Evan, Lui, Simone, Brian, and sadly, Delirious. It was one of my favorite classes because it came really easily to me and I didn't have to do anything for most of the class. I sat down and pulled out my drawing notebook. It was filled with random doodles and patterns that I made during class. Mr. Zech then announced we would have some group projects and I immediately looked over at Simone who smiled at me. Then he said the words I didn't want to hear, "I will be assigning your partners." He began reading off names and slowly but surely the names dwindled down. "And finally, Katie and Jonathan" "One, it's Delirious! I don't go by Jon anymore and two, can I change partners?" "No, you may not change partners and if you talk back to me anymore you are getting detention for the rest of the week." Delirious slumped down in his chair, crossing his arms and mumbling something to himself. "Okay class now get with your partners and discuss what you will do for the science fair. I need an idea by the end of the hour. You have about 50 minutes left. Go." I saw that Del was not going to get up so I rolled my eyes and made my way over to him. "So what are we gonna do, loser?" He simply turned his head away from me. "Hey! I don't wanna do this with you either but in case you didn't know this is worth three test grades and I am not failing this test because of your lazy ass. "Fine. Then I get to pick what we do." "Whatever I don't care just don't pick something too stupid or else I'll have to kill you." He rolled his eyes and pulled out his laptop to see some ideas. He suddenly got a look on his face of a bit of mischievousness. "I know what we're gonna do."
