[Del's POV]

Finally, the bell rang. There was a chorus of, "It's officially spring break!" "Woo!" "Yeah! No school for a week!" And other things. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the other teenagers over excitement. I may have been the same if I didn't have to do this stupid project with Katie. I really didn't want to spend break working on a project, and especially not with her. Hopefully it'll be funny seeing her trying to reach high up shelves and struggle so much people take pity and help her. Maybe I'll make her try to reach something embarrassing like tampons. I laughed at the thought as I walked out of the building. I got in my car and started it up. Man I loved the sound of my engine. I had a new F-150 Shelby Truck in blue with white stripes on it and I loved it. (A/N pic above) I started heading home and on the way I saw Katie walking. Her house was like 20 minutes away from here! I drove up next to her and rolled the window down. "The fuck are you doing?" "What does it look like dumbass? I'm walking." "I got that but why are you walking your house is like an hour walk from here!" "Yeah, well some people aren't lucky enough to have a car and my bike tire popped so I walked, OK? Can you leave now? I prefer to walk in peace." I thought about leaving her but I'm just too nice of a person. "No. Get in the truck." "What? No I don't wanna get an STD from sitting in that thing. Who knows who or what you've done in there." "It wasn't a question Katie! Get in now or I'll make you." "Nope." She held her head high and kept walking. Damn that woman. I stopped the truck and ran out to grab her. "Hey! Del! Let go!" She hit me on the arm so I would let go but they didn't register as much. "Are you trying to hurt me or pat me like a dog?" She groaned in frustration and gave up resisting. She got in the truck and we headed off to her house. I knew the general area it was in but not the exact house. I guess it doesn't matter until we get closer. "Can I change the station? You're music taste sucks. You know what I'm just gonna do it." She changed it to 100.5 (A/N I live in Oklahoma so this is the KATT which is like classic rock for us) "What was wrong with the station before?" "Well for one, you liked it so that's obviously bad and two, it was country and I cannot stand country so we're going to rock music." "Fine, whatever." I acted like I didn't really like it but actually I loved this station I had just come across a really good country song so I kept it on that. Ozzy's No More Tears came on, one of my favorites. I tapped my fingers to the drum beat and hoped Katie didn't see. I glanced out of the corner of my eye to find her mouthing the words with her eyes closed and bobbing her head. Guess I wasn't the only one who liked this song. Just a few seconds after the song finished we arrived at her house. "Bye, Asshole!" She yelled as she shut the door. I rolled the window down, "Don't I get a thank you for not making you walk?" "Nope, plus you basically kidnapped me." I rolled my eyes and rolled the window up. Jeez that girl gets on my last nerve, usually I win these 'fights' but she's gotten sassier. I got home, said hello to my mother, then went up and turned on my Xbox. I told Evan and the crew I would play with them when I got home and since I'm a bit late they're probably wondering where I am. I joined the party and skype call, "Sup guys! What are we playing today?" "We were thinking either CS:GO or GTAV." I really liked both but, "I vote GTAV I feel like we haven't played it in a while so why not?" We played for a few hours blowing stuff up and doing some heists. It was nice to get some time with the guys. "Well I gotta start packing! My family is leaving tomorrow so I have to have all of it packed by the morning. See you guys later!" And Tyler left. Slowly but surely everyone had to go whether it was the same reason or just getting bored. I shut off my Xbox and went to bed thinking about how sucky my break will be.
