When you love someone, you do whatever it takes to see them happy. See their dreams flourish. Sometimes, your help is only need for a short period of time. And when they don't need you anymore they toss you to the side. No warning at all. They see no use for you at the moment so they put you away and forget about you.
But that doesn't stop you from loving them. Right? You get the message, that you're not needed anymore. You keep your distance. Don't try to interfere with their life. But you still care. You just care from a distance.
At first you were angry and upset that the reeled you in and let you go with no effort whatsoever. Then you were sad, because you didn't talk anymore. Then you would pretend that you got over it and were always happy. But every time you looked at them you broke.
And soon you realized that everything was okay. You looked at the bright side of things everyday. You laughed and you eventually smiled when they were around. You were healing pretty well from all of those bullets that pierced your skin, and your heart, and your lungs, and your brain.
Then he started to be the sad one. He would talk less. He would interact less. He wasn't the person he used to be. And I wondered why.
He begin to be sad and his feelings transferred to me. I was so angry. I had just started to feel happy when he had to come and ruin it all. He didn't understand how much he affected me.
But it's okay, because he never understands how I feel about him or anything.
