The road so far, was a jealous one at that. Sam had no right to be after leading you on, but yet you ceased to find out what his problem was though you had an idea. Maybe that you yelled at him, telling him all of it, that you were done with the charades. The one thing you did know was the Crimson poison he'd sip.

Sam's head pounded profoundly when the demon blood would ware off for those few moments before he would grab it and drink little bits before his mind was at ease. All of his heart was torn between you and killing the damn demon who had succeeded at hiding though him and Dean had began to break seals here and there though it didn't seem right to you.

You saw right through Sam's little sneaks of it here and there where he'd thought you and Dean turned your backs yet you didn't say anything or want to because you felt it wasn't the right time nor moment. With everything going on, it was never the right time.

Dean and your relationship had been distant from that last moment you shared. You both were unsure of how to approach it or how to even conclude what it was that you wanted to do with it. Go farther or leave it till the day the hunting life was over for good. At least the two options in your minds at the moment.

The alarm went off, a groan escaped your mouth as you fumbled with buttons on the clock till you pressed the off button and tried to get up but strong arms pulled you back.

"Ten more minutes" Dean's sleepily voice made your heart race a little.

"Dean we have a hunt and-" you tried to protest though Dean was having it. A whine escaped his lips as he pulled you even closer snuggling his chin atop of your head. You huffed a little but eased your back against his chest before the alarm went off only minutes later.

"Okay now we really need to get up or Sammy's gonna have a fit" you said moving his arms from around your waist.

"Fine" his voice sounded disappointed.

Dean walked over to his small bag, unzipping it finding a black shirt, a blue flannel, jeans, and his biker boots and started to put them on as you went into the bathroom to take a quick shower and change in to the clothes you prepared last night. Dean didn't get it but you shrugged it off like nothing.

The shower felt as nice as a motel shower could. The almost hot water hit your back the way you needed it to. The stress you had for a moment, releasing into the intermixed fog of the steam. You washed up quickly and got out about ten minutes after. You wrapped a towel around your chest and walked into the front room as Dean quickly went past you and into the bathroom himself. The clothes picked out for the day was a purple top, with Deans black hoodie he let you have, jeans, and some combat boots. You looked at yourself in the mirror, actually liking what you saw.

Dean walked out and admired the face you made it the mirror when you put on your outfit. He thought it was nice to see you smiling.

"You look beautiful sweetheart" he said waking up behind you.

"Thank you Dean" you said walking past him awkwardly. The past creeping up on you and the worry of the seals.

"Alright you ready" him looking over to see you throw the duffel over your shoulder.

"As I'll ever be Winchester" you began for the door with anticipation.

-
The hunt went well other than you almost were put on a spell by a witch. She was a real bitchy kind of witch if you know what I mean.  When you got to the motel Dean made a run to the local diner and Sam took another sip of the poison, his muscles relaxing, you couldn't keep quiet to him anymore. You walked up behind him and grabbed his shoulders.

"What the hell!" He hissed at you making you only squint your eyes at him slightly.

"Really Sam you don't think I've been seeing you chug down that poison for months now" you grabbed the tiny glass bottle from his hand, holding it fair amount away from his eyes.

"You-you have" his whole demeanor changed when he saw it in your hands. The worry behind the anger in your eyes.

"It's kind of obvious Sam, your not as slick as you think" you put the bottle in your back pocket and saw his hand shake in nervousness. "Look I'm not going to tell Dean, but you should Sam. I don't want you to become something your not" you furried your eyebrows with a sad smile plastered amongst your face.

"A monster, right?" He shook his head angrily.

"Sam you know that's now what I meant-"

He scoffed "That's exactly what you meant y/n" he put his hands on his head and walked back forth a bit.

You looked down to your feet in disappointment, you didn't think that yet you couldn't form the word you were looking for. Was it monster? Could you really think of Sam that way but why? That's all that crossed your mind in that simple moment.

"Why Sam?" your voice barley audible for him to hear. The tears began to show. He turned towards you taking a breath in and then out how lips pursing for a moment.

"Y/n I'm need to be strong enough okay" he looked at you as his eyebrows began to stitch tiers each other.

"Sam all that matters at the moment is that Dean is here and we need to stop those damned things from breaking the seals" tears began to fall, staining your cheek as reached a hand out to cup his face though he pushed it away. Beginning to pack his bag "Sam please, we can find another way. Sam!" You yelled though your sore voice made it hard. "Please we can fight this, we'll find another way Sam!". With that Sam left, not a word not sound just the door slamming. You fell to your knees, you'd kept thinking to your self that you had failed Dean but worse. Sam himself. With that everything went black as you collided with the floor.

-
Sam had seen her the black haired Ruby and had a worried expression on his face.

"You look like your face was sprayed with water, luckily it's not holy water. You know I'm not a fan of that" she winked with a quick wiggle of her eyebrow, taking a couple more steps toward Sam.

"She knows" Sam said sadly looking down at his hands.

"Sam, so what. You're going to kill Lilith and save the world. Think of it!" She put her hand on his shoulder, lightly squeezing it a bit.

"I know, I'm just unfocused because she took it" he felt a shiver rumble down his spine.

"Sam you got this" she hooked her arm in his as they began to walk into the convenient store. Ruby grabbed water and a couple other things for Sam and her. "Oh would you look they have my favorite thing" she pointed to the fries that were beside the hotdog stand "deep fried crack" she grabbed it, eating one.

"Well thats nice" he walked up the counter and placed the items on there and quickly paid for them then left with Ruby.

"Just tell Dean you were on a supply run" Ruby shrugged as Sam told her everything.

"What if y/n says diffrent then what do i say, my 10 almost 11 year olf friend is hallucinating, Yeah like he's gonna believe me" His voice laced in sarcasim.

"Well I say goodluck and as always, say hi to Dean because I know he'll just love that" her voice even more sarcastic than Sams as she dissapeared in a quick second.

Sam turned towred the door and found it open, he found Dean, Bobby, and you sitting at the couch. You all looked at him confusedly. Dean finally spoke up from the scilence but what he said suprised him "Where ya' been man?" he asked and smiled as he got up and hugged his brother.

"Out I guess" as he hugged Dean back he looked back to see you. Your facial expression speaking better than words, somthing was going on that he didn't know about other than Dean was actully clueless.

-

As soon as you all got back to Bobby's the rushing began, Sam was grabbed my the arms by Dean as Bobby and you rushed him down to the Panic room as quickly as they could shoving him in there. Sam yelling and struggling his way as he pounded against thedoor.

"Dean this isn't funny, I'm getting stong enough to kill Lilith" he yelped though all of you had to walk away even though it hurt.
