Seeing Norman

(Ashley's POV)

I couldn't believe how time flies I was now 3 months 2 weeks 16 weeks and finally getting a belly bump time for new clothes. That was what Roxie and I was going to go do after seeing Dr. Griffith. I couldn't wait to find out what we was going to have. Roxie could have known earlier but she wanted to wait till we could both find out what we was having.

Mandy was waiting on us with a smile on her face when she seen us walk through the door. Mom came with us on this trip wanting to know what we was having. Dad watched Mason for me which I was happy since I didn't want the room filled with a lot of people.

"Dr. Griffith will be with you shortly." Mandy said as we all nodded and took a seat in the waiting room.

"So have you gave any thought about Norman yet?" Mom asked looking at me.

"Every day even before I found out about the twins." I said.

"Did I tell you I talked to him last week?" Mom asked as I went wide-eyed at her. "What Boo he's my Son-in-law and I love him." Mom added.

"Did you tell him?" I asked.

"Of course not....but you do need to go see him, Lauren called and told me that when he has to act or do photo-shoot they have to put make-up on him to cover the black circles around his eyes, she said he doesn't look healthy and that he took up drinking." Mom said.

"I..." I said as I was cut short by Mandy to tell us that Doctor Griffith was ready.

"Well come on girls." Mom said as we all stood up and walked to the back door to the rooms.

"Aright who goes first?" Mandy asked.

"Roxie is." I said as Roxie looked at me and shook her head but Mandy handed her the outfit first then left the room so she could change.

Roxie got undressed and changed into the outfit and laid on the table and waited for Dr. Griffith. I tried to push it out of my head about Norman at the moment but it was hard to, knowing he was hurting more than I thought he would.

"How are we today ladies?" Dr. Griffith asked as he broke my concentration.

"Good." Roxie, Mom and I said at the same time.

"Are we ready to find out what we are having today?" Griffith asked as Roxie looked at me and smiled. "Let's get to it." He added as Mandy came into the room with the ultra sound machine.

I smiled when he pulled up the top half of the outfit to show her belly. Then rubbed the jelly on her belly so we could see the little one in there. I looked at Roxie as she smiled when she heard the heart beat.

"Well this little one isn't shy about showing what it is." Dr. Griffith said smiling.

"You was right wasn't you?" Roxie asked as Griffith looked at her and nodded.

"Yep it's a boy and he's doing wonderful." Griffith said as I felt a tear roll down my cheek knowing the baby was going to be a heart breaker even before he was born. "Now Ashley are you ready?" He asked.

"Yes she is." Roxie said raising her brow at me.

"Yes I'm ready." I said smiling.

"Alright let me get out of here so you can get undressed." Griffith said as he walked out of the room.

Once he left I got undressed and got into the outfit before laying on the table getting ready for him. All I could do was look at the ceiling wondering what I should do about Norman. I didn't have much time to think since Griffith came in looking at me.
