Chapter Four: Pegasus?

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hey guys, finally got the fourth chapter out, thanks to the snow day, but then my internet wasn't working and i was like arrrggggghhhhhh. Anyway, I don't mind constructive criticism. Please do tell me if I have spelled anything wrong. Oh I finally got in different points of view in this chapter!!! Yay!!! Hope you enjoy it!

GINGKA'S POV

After everyone finished their breakfast, they went about their normal business, continuing their normal rouine. Kyoya left for his early morning training sessions in the forest somewhere, Benki was beyblading outside, Hikharu was watching TV, and Tsubasa was on his laptop again. I went and sat down on one of the extra beds. *Sigh* There must be some way I can get a bey and participate in Prison Break. 

"What's wrong?"

I look up and see Hyhoma walking over and taking a seat next to me.

"Why do you look so sad? That's not the Gingka I know."

"You wouldn't understand." I tell him as I stare at my shoes.

"Your not going to stop battling are you? You can't hide from the future, your bey may be gone, but you're still here Gingka."

It was like he read my mind and figured out  my problem. "I know that! But how can any bey replace Pegasus?"

"There may be one..." I looked up at him in confusion. "Do you remember the story of how Storm Pegasus was born? From a star fragment?" he asks me. 

"Yeah, a long time ago, the ancestors of Koma Village created it." I had heard this many times from my father when i was little. 

"Right, but did you know Storm Pegasus was not the first bey they made?"

"Huh?" 

"To make a bey to rival the dark power, even those great crafts people had to use trial and error to make the perfect bey. Several prototypes were made, but the bey that was the basis for Pegasus still remains today, known as the legendary bey." Hyhoma tells me. 

"...Legendary?"

"It is said that it contains more power than Storm Pegasus or Lightning L-Drago. Due to that power, nobody could control it and it was sealed away."

"It makes sense with that power..."

"But Gingka, I think, maybe, you could control it."

"Me? But where is it now?"

"It's still locked away in Koma Vil-"

"Well let's go then!" I cut him off and run into the kitchen to tell Madoka. I found her washing the last of the dishes from breakfast, Kenta was sitting nearby. "Madoka! I think I can get a new bey! It's in Koma Village! Hyhoma told me about it!" 

"In Koma? A new bey?" she says.

"Yes! Hyhoma and I are going to go get it! When I get it, I'll be able to compete in Prison Break!"

"Oooo, I'll come too! I want to know all about this new bey!" Madoka exclaims.

"Hey Gingka, can I come too?" Kenta asks.

"Sure, why not!" I respond.

"Alright, we should leave now, so we can reach Koma before it gets dark." Hyhoma tells us.
