"Get your hands off of my Luce" Natsu roared throwing Grey into a wall.Lucy POV
Nobody moved to stop what was happening. Natsu repeatedly hit Grey. Showing no signs of stopping, I took a daring step forward. I saw the dragon like scales starting to form on Natsu's face. Taking a deep breath I grabbed his shoulder, pulling with enough force I momentarily knocked Natsu back a little.
"This isn't necessary Natsu" my tone was cold and commanding.
"Yes it is" he growled "First I couldn't do what I want and now Grey comes claiming you're his" Natsu shook his head "I won't accept it. You are mine and no one else's"
My face heated up at his comment but I kept my composure "Natsu." I deadpanned "After what has happened you can't just claim I'm yours"
Emotion wavered in Natsu's eyes. An unsettling frown setting itself on his face "Fine. I'll just leave you and your lover to it then" Natsu spat. Abruptly standing up and taking off.
I wanted to follow him. To call out his name. But I didn't, instead I turned towards the beaten Grey lying on the floor in a pile of rubble. Approaching him slowly I took in his whole appearance. He was severely bruised but had very few cuts. I crouched down next to him cupping his face gently.
Grey pulled away "Go find him"
I shook my head "No way am I going after him. Not after what he has done"
Grey chuckled "I did not just let flame for brains beat the crap out of me for no reason. Now go after him" Grey sat up eyeing me carefully. I didn't move from my spot in front of him, glaring ever so slightly. "Go Lucy. NOW!" he yelled forcefully.
Glaring at Grey for a good few seconds, I finally succumbed to his wishes. Looking around at my guild mates quickly I saw that they all thought the same. My eyes staying on Lisanna for a moment, she had a small smirk on her face, but her eyes held fury. Forgetting Lisanna I sighed standing up slowing making my way out of the guild.
'I hope I don't regret this'

I leaned up against a tree in Magnolia park. It had been hours and I hadn't found any sign of Natsu. The sun was just setting leaving it's last licks of fiery gold streaking the sky. I had given up trying to find Natsu, he was gone. Sliding down to the ground I hugged my knees, this was all my fault. If I had just listened to him earlier he would be safe at home.
"Luce?"
Lifting my head rapidly my eyes landed on the dragon slayer. He looked unsure of what to say, his eyes darting between me and the ground. I stood up crossing my arms in front of my chest.
"Well?" I said raising an eyebrow "What do you have to say for yourself?"
He started to nervously scratch the back of his head "I can't exactly say what I need to at the moment Luce"
"And why not?"
"It's complicated Luce" Natsu sighed. I took a careful step closer to him at this distance I could see his face was still flush. I placed my hand on his forehead, his face reaching a darker shade of crimson upon contact. He was still really warm.
I sighed deeply lowering my hand "Natsu, if you were still sick why did you leave your house?" I scolded.
"It wasn't my choice" He muttered quietly
"What do you mean it wasn't your choice?"
"Lisanna-" He trailed off
I shook my head "Never mind, let's worry about this tomorrow morning" I took his hand pulling him towards my place.
He followed without protest, it was a slow and slightly sluggish walk but we eventually reach my apartment. I pointed to the bed, obeying Natsu fell face first into the mattress. He starting to snore almost immediately, I giggled at him. Get into my pajamas I laid down next to him on the bed. Thoughts about what happened earlier occupied my thoughts. Lisanna's expression, what Natsu said I felt it was all connected.
'It's always Lisanna' I thought grimly. My eyes growing heavy I scummed to the darkness.
