The Upcoming event

Renee's POV~

"A bad dream? What was it?" Luke seemed amused.

"Its nothing. Really, its nothing" i cant bring myself to look at anything besides the floor.

"Well it seems to be bothering you" his tone turned serious.

"Its just a repeating dream. More like a nightmare" i finally looked at Luke, i have no idea why i am even telling him this.

"Hey i need to ask you something" he was looking straight into my eyes.

"Ye-yes?" My heart was beating so fast.

"Do you wanna...... maybe go to Maddy's party with me tomorrow?" He muttered

Before i could reply we heard someone coming up the stairs.

"Quick!" He pushed me toward the window

"Go before my mom comes. She'll kill me if she sees your here!"

"Were on the second story! Im not jumping" i was shocked he would even think the window would work as a escape route!

"Here. Use this" he handed me a sheet tied to some other sheets.

"Ill hold one end. Now climb!"

Seeing i had no choice, i carefully climbed out the window. He lowered the sheet until i was about four feet from the ground. I dropped and ran across the yard, hopping the fence in between our houses.

I walked inside and noticed my mom wasn't home. She was most likely picking up Harry, my little brother. Since the divorce every other weekend my father would get him. He lives a couple towns away so it will be a while before they got back.

I walked upstairs to my room. I turned on the stereo and threw myself on my bed. I couldn't stop thinking about the dream. I just need to take my mind off of it. Thats when i heard something thrown at my window. I opened the curtains to see Luke at his window. He held up a piece of paper that said 'i'll pick you up at 7 for the party ;)'. I nodded my head in agreement. I shut the curtains and turned around quickly before he could see me smile. My first party, i am so excited!

Somewheres around 10pm i was texting Cassie, my best friend about the party. She was going too so i wouldn't be stuck with Luke the whole time. I mean, he has his moments where he's sweet but he's still a jerk. I closed my eyes and drifted asleep. I woke up to my little brother jumping on my bed. Im glad he woke me up, I was having the same dream again.

"Heyy dude, how was dads?" I smiled at him as picking him up. For a six year old, he's pretty light.

"Good. He got me a new toy!" He held up a shiny silver car

"Wow thats amazing" i laughed. He always brightens my mood.

"Dear, leave your sister alone. Its time for bed" she poked his nose

"Okay mommy" he gave me a kiss on the cheek before i let him down.

He dragged me to his room and i tucked him in his spiderman sheets.

When i got back to my room i noticed it was past midnight. So i manage to fall asleep. I woke up when i heard something outside my door. I opened it to find a silver car. I took it back into my room and set it on the stand, thinking nothing if it.

I spent the next day at Cassie's, getting ready for the party. But I couldn't stop thinking about last night.

Luke's POV~

When i went up to my room last night it was a little past 1am. I looked outside to see a strange man outside of Harrys window. I ran downstairs but by the time i stepped outside the man was gone. I convinced myself i was imagining it.

The next day went by fast. After getting ready for Maddy's party i was nervous to get Renee.

Someone knocked at the door and i ran to it, hoping it was her. When i opened it i stood in an awe. There was Renee, her black hair was curled, her makeup made her eyes stand out and she was wearing a light blue dress which hugged her skinny yet curvy figure.

"Do i look bad?"

It took me a few minutes to process the sight in front of me.

"You look..." Before i could finish her friend popped out from behind her

"Beautiful right? I did it" she smiled. Her bubbly attitude reminded my of Sam when he's drunk.

"We should get going, were going to be late" she mumbled as she smiled.

We finally left when Sam and Rick got there. As Rick flirted with Cassie, i got to talk to Renee. She was a little shakey.

"My hotness does that to people" she gave me a weird look

"Does what to people?"

"Makes them nervous. I can tell by the way your shaking" i smirked at her

"Oh um.... Im not nervous, I'm fine" she continued to stare at her feet

"No seriously, tell me whats wrong" i tried to be serious but the way Sam yelled as someone pulled in front of him made me laugh.

"Its just.....I'm a little worried." Her hands were shaking uncontrollably now. I grabbed them to ease the shaking

"My brother...i woke up and he was curled up at my feet"

"Yeah so? Whats the problem?" her hands were still shaking.

"Well i asked why and umm... he said there was a man outside his window when he woke up. My mom says he probably was imagining it but he was pretty scared. It kinda freaked me out." She was shaking worse now

"Its okay, little kids imagine things" i tried to reassure her. There was no way i was going to tell her i saw the man, she would definitaly freak out. Plus i think it was just the bushes moving. I smiled at her and she smiled back. I think my heart just stopped.

Renee's POV~

Luke still hasn't let go of my hands. I started to relax more until we pulled up to Maddy's house. To my surprise her house was huge. People were everywhere and trash was all over the front lawn. After we walked to the front door i immediately regretted coming.
