-DIANA'S POV-
"Drive faster, Dean."
"I can't! Are you guys okay?" Dean jerked the Impala to the left.
"Yeah, I'm amazing. How bout you, Di?" Sam asked as he back at me.
I whined. Right now I was a dog, laying in the backseat, who was slowly bleeding from a bullet wound and a lot of cuts.
"Hang in there Di."
"You ever seen that many?"
Sam shook his head. "No. No way, not in one place."
Suddenly Dean slammed on the brakes. The Impala skidded to a stop in front of a giant road block on fire.
"What the hell?"
"Damn it!" Dean shouted as a hoard of demons ran next to the Impala.
One broke a window to try and reach me, but his hand pulled away when I bit it. Well, a part of his hand he kept, the other was in my mouth.
All of a sudden the demons start to scream and burn. Outside there is a giant fire truck spraying water, and I'm pretty sure it was holy water, all over them as a guy with a megaphone shouted what sounded like an Enochian exorcism.
Dean stepped out of the car. "Well that's something you don't see every day."
"You two alright?" a guy asked.
"Peachy." that word was laced with sarcasm.
The guy nodded. "Be careful. It's...dangerous around here." and the truck started to back up.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait." Dean shouted. The truck stopped.
I whined again. Sam made some soothing sounds while I listened to the conversation outside.
"No need to thank us." the guy said.
Dean walked towards him. "No, hold up a sec! Who are you?"
"We're the Sacrament Lutheran Militia."
Dean paused. "I'm sorry-the what?"
The guy sighed. "I hate to tell you this, but those were demons and this is the Apocalypse. So...buckle up."
"Stay here Di." Sam got out of the car. "Looks like we're in the same line of business."
Dean pointed. "And among colleagues. That's a police-issued shotgun. That truck is, uh...inspired. Where'd you guys pick up all this crap?"
Another guy shrugged. "You know you pick things up along the way. I'm Paul and that," he pointed to the guy with the megaphone. "is Rob."
"Guys, come on. This whole corner of the state is nuts with demon omens. We just want to help. That's all." Dean said.
Sam nodded. "We're on the same team here. Just talk to us."
Rob thought for a second, then nodded. "Follow us."
After a quick drive to a same town, some people patched us up. I was still a dog, and I don't know how to change back so I'm stuck this way, and we were led to a church.
A woman gently slapped a guy in the back of the head. "Dylan, it's a church. Headphones off."
Dylan nodded and took of his headphones. "Yes, mom."
"Who would have thought the Apocalypse could be so romantic? Marriage, family-it's a blessing. Especially in times like this. So hold on to that." a guy said to the church group.
"A wedding?"
Sam scoffed. "Seriously?"
Paul nodded. "Yeah. We've had eight so far this week."
