Chapter 14

When I got home I got a lecture from my mom saying my phone is suppose to be used from communication and I need to text her more blah blah blah. I got down to my room and collapsed on my bed.

I got into some comfy clothes and looked at the time. 5:03 p.m

I decided just to watch some Netflix on my iPad until dinner. I watched a few episodes of greys anatomy and watched Dr.Bailey slay cause she slays everyday all day.

I found some nail polish in one of my drawers called playful purple. I painted my nails and let them to dry.

Finally it was dinner and it was steak and peas. After dinner my mom told me some exciting news.

"Since our backyard is empty I got you something to keep you occupied." My mom told me while she was putting the dirty dishes in the dishwasher.

"What is it?" I asked anxiously.

"I got you a trampoline!"

"Oh my god mom thank you so much!" I jumped up and down and hugged my mom. I've always wanted a trampoline since back home but we never got one.

"Dads in the back setting it up" she said.

I ran downstairs and went through the patio door. By the time I got outside my dad was done and putting his tools away. I thanked him and went on it immediately.

I started jumping and doing front and backflips. It was so fun! I could see over the fence dividing Jacob's and I's backyard. I could see him in his hot tub making a musically. I didn't know he had musically.

I stayed on the trampoline until Jacob saw me. He saw my doing flips and I stopped jumping for a bit. I jumped up again to see over and he was looking back at his phone. I did a few more flips then I went inside.

I got into some pj's and I went on musically. I found Jacob pretty quickly because he had 3.51 million followers. He is famous?! That explains why girls are all over him. The most recent musically is him and Maddie lip syncing happily. The caption is 'with the best 💗' and there are many comments saying "you guys are so cute" and "goals af"

I know this is probably bad to admit but I kind of miss Jacob and his cute face and kissable lips and perfect brown hair and- no what am I saying? I'm happy with Mark and Jacob was the one who hurt me.

I decide to just sleep on it so I set my alarm for school and I don't have trouble falling asleep. When I am woken up by my alarm I don't want to get ready for school. I finally roll out of bed and decide what I want to wear.

I don't feel like wearing jean shorts so I put on a comfy Hollister top and throw on a black lulu lemon sports bra cause I didn't feel like wearing a cupped bra today. I put on pair of comfy shorts with flowers on them {in the media} and put on brown sandals that go up to my ankles.

I leave my hair down and I don't bother to brush it. I put some products in my hair so it's not as frizzy and it makes it look more curly.

I get to school and dread through all my classes. When I'm on the bus I sit with Mark. He asked me if I wanted to come over but I told him about my new trampoline and I really just wanted to go on it. When Jacob and I got off the bus before I went inside I looked over at Jacob. I didn't see him all day and he looked really hot.

He looked over to see my eyes locked on his body and he says "take a picture it will last longer" and walks inside. I walk around the house and go to the trampoline.

I was getting better at my back flips and I saw a cool video at someone doing a double back flip so I decided to try. I got a big jump and I feel like I'm flying and then I see a blur of the world and I can't tell where the ground is until I feel a pain in my neck and legs and everything goes black.

Jacob's pov:

I go outside to see Nadia jumping on her trampoline. She must have gotten it yesterday. Her flips are actually really good and I would never be able to do that. I was just about to head back inside when I heard a shriek and I turn to see Nadia almost landing a double tuck but when she went down I couldn't see the rest of her because of the fence.

I can only help the urge to help her so I jump over the fence and her right leg is wrapped around a spring and her rest of the body is lying on the ground with her neck not looking in place. I see blood. I run into her house immediately "HELP PLEASE HELP!" Nadia's mom comes rushing "what's wrong? Jacob? Oh my god. Where's Nadia?"

"She's outside p- please help the trampoline there's blood- SHES HURT" I can help but stumble over my words. I don't want her to die. Please god no.
