Kareoke Night

Celine, Max, Janice, Edward and Loki went to a kareoke club in the city. "Celine, you should've seen your father in Tokyo. He slayed it in this kareoke club we went to." She enjoyed every single word her parents said. They got to the club where Max signed them all up for Open Mic Night. "Alright you singers and crooners! Tonight is Open Mic Night and some you out there wanna show your voice and those of you who are shy folks, come on up and show everyone what you got!" Loki took a sip of the soda Max ordered. "Tonight we got our first singer hailing all the way from Kansas City, Natalie Field!" A woman in her 20's sang Taylor Swift's song You Belong With Me. After her singing came a guy who sang What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction. "Baby you light up my world like nobody else..." Celine slowly covered her ears and Loki just didn't like it and looked at Max wearing a pair noise canceling headphones and asked for them. She pointed at them and just ignored him making the Norse god irritated. It was Max's turn to take the stage. She sang Payphone by Maroon 5 feat. Wiz Kalifa. Loki was in the form of a 15 year old boy which looked like a somewhat striking resemblance to his adult form. "Give it up for Maxine Sterling everyone!" The room was filled with cheers and applause. "Up next we have ourselves a duet. Aww... and the couple singing would be Celine Robinson and..."
"Lucky Laufeyson!" Called out Celine. "Right, Lucky Laufeyson." The spotlight shined on both of them. "You'll do great sweetie." Said Janice. "Thanks mom." Max gave a thumbs up. (A/N: That's where you cue the song and I imagine that Loki is a good singer.) Loki began to sing his part which got the attention of every girl there.
"Livin in my own world. Didn't understand that anything can happen. When you take a chance." Celine began to sing her part. "I never believed in what I couldn't see. I didn't open my heart. To all the possiblities. Ooh."
Both of them began to sing together.

The stage fright left them and confidence took its place. "Now who'd ever thought that"

Loki twirled Celine around. "I didn't know that it could happen 'til it happened to me."
