Dealing with Sour Notes

Celine's parents left for South America leaving her and Loki alone in the penthouse apartment. They were cuddling on the sofa with Celine resting on his chest. He gently stroked her black/green hair when a screechy sound startled them. It sounded like something was dying. "What is that horrible noise?!" Loki tried plugging his ears with the cushions in hopes of blocking out the sound. "It's Dustin!" Dustin Mayron is the 12 kid who lives across the hall from her and every hour on the hour he plays his violin and it sounds like a dying cat. "Loki, I'm gonna go talk with Dustin's mom."
"What did you say?!"
"I said, I'm gonna go talk with Dustin's mom!" Celine yelled. "Anything to make that horrible noise stop!" He yelled back. She went across the hall and knocked on the door. "Hello?" A woman wearing a white blouse with a long light blue skirt stood in front of Celine. "Hi, Mrs. Mayron, you may remember me as the green haired girl who lives here alone."
"Yes, I know who you are. Celine, is it?"
She nodded. "Yes, anyway, can you please tell Dustin to keep it down a bit?"
"Hmm... maybe, but my Dustin really wants to make is music better with his new electric violin. You know, the one where you connect it to an amplifier like an electric guitar." Celine nodded. "Mom who is it?" Dustin came to the front door to find Celine. "Hi Celine! Did you see my new violin?"
"Saw it? I heard it!" She thought. "Yes, I see it."
Time skip
"Celine! Did you convince Dustin's mother to make her son to cease that horrid noise?" The same sour discordant notes resumed cauing Loki to cry out in pain. They went somewhere quiet which was her room. According to Celine, her parents shipped her some special foam padding which is used for soundproofing a room while they were in Los Angeles once. "Celine, is it normal for blood come out of my ears?" He showed a hint of blood on his finger. "Yes Loki, it's normal in all the Nine Realms for ears to bleed." She kissed his forehead in hopes of cheering him up. "I can't sit here in your room doing nothing!" She looked at him worriedly. "What are you gonna do?"
"You shall see my dear."
Two hours later...
"Guess I better go and endure the ear splitting noise." Celine said sarcastically. She left her room to find that it was suddenly quiet. She found a pin and dropped on the floor. She heard it fall on the floor. It is very quiet. "Celine I returned." She turned to see Loki. "Don't do that! You spooked me."
"I... apologize for frightening you."
"Apology accepted. Usually, most guys don't apologize and that's a sign that shows that there is a bit of goodness in you. Even if you're misunderstood." She said lightly punching his shoulder. "So, what did you do to make the noise stop?"
He explained to her what he did. "Here is what I've done. First off, I shapeshifted into a fruit fly silently flying into the apartment. Next, I went into Dustin's bedroom found his electric violin and casted a silence spell on it. I've been meaning to use it on Thor because he snores very loudly and I am the only one who can break the spell."
"What am I gonna do with you Loki?" She said laughing slightly. "Let's watch some TV." Celine set the TV up and went right back to cuddling with each other. "Loki."
"Yes?" He asked. "How were able to cast that silence spell on Dustin's violin without crying out in pain?" She said curiously. "I used these." He said showing her a pair of ear plugs. "That's one of the reasons why I love you."
