"Finally! Could you guys walk any slower?" Scarlet complained when she saw Cinder and Iko. "We were standing here for thirteen minutes." Scarlet irritably said, putting her hands in the pockets of her red hoodie.

"Wow. Iko and I are so sorry for causing you so much trouble." Cinder replied with her usual dose of sarcasm. Scarlet just rolled eyes.

Surprisingly Cress piped up, wearing her fairy costume. "Please don't be moody. It's Halloween!"

Iko adjusted her dress and said, "I don't think Halloween requires someone to be happy." Once her dress was straightened, she looked at the group of girls. "Nice costumes."

"Yep. Winter made me be little red riding hood. . . Which wasn't such a bad choice, since I like red," Said Scarlet.

"You're not wearing a cape, nor do you have a basket of goodies to give to your grandmother," Cinder snickered.

"I was not going to wear a cape! A red hoodie and jeans is close enough to what red riding hood would wear in modern day. Like you even have a better costume, Cinder."

Before Cinder could reply, Cress interpreted her, panicking. "Where is Winter?"

"Don't worry, Cress. She's probably frolicking with the some ducks or something." Scarlet replied.

"Ducks are those birds that we see when we walk down the busy parts of the city, right?" Cress questioned innocently.

"No, Cress. Those are pigeons." The other girls said simultaneously.

"Oh."

Cress was pretty new to Commonwealth City and you'd think she'd know the difference between ducks and pigeons, right? Not exactly. Cress was a former hacker for the CIA. A seventeen year old as a hacker wasn't common. She was holed up in their base most of her life, after they took her in. She had no family but her friends.

"OH MY STARS, CINDER!" Iko screamed in excitement.

"What is it this time? You saw heels on the ground? You lost your makeup brush?" Cinder rolled her eyes.

"Or maybe I just saw the President's son, with three other handsome boys!" Iko said, her face glowing.

"Wait, really?" Cinder was a bit intrigued. The President's son is rarely seen outside the Whitehouse. She also didn't like him very much. She thought of him as a rich, stuck up guy.

Winter walked towards them with a duck in her hands. "They're going into the Lunar Cave." The girls sighed in relief when they saw her.

Winter sometimes had mentality of a child because she got everything when she was child. That's why it seemed normal for her to wear a butterfly costume. She was also rich as well. Her parents were one of the richest, but Winter still managed to be one of nicest souls.

Scarlet furiously said, "The Lunar Cave?! No way we're going in there. There'll be cameras and hovers crawling all over the place now. And all because Kaito, the son of the President, is in there."

"Calm down, Scar. I don't think they noticed he's in there." Cress said quietly.

"OKAY, LET'S GO THEN!" Iko shouted to the girls.

Everyone laughed and walked towards The Lunar Cave. They didn't expect to be whirled into a dangerous adventure that would leave them terrified.
