Saying that I want more, this is what I live for.

Surprisingly, talking to the Cosmo reporter is just like talking.

She's very nice, maybe thirty, and acts like we're friends meeting for coffee instead of a prestigious reporter and Victoria's Secret Angel.

"Your accent is beautiful, I have to say. French?" She says, smiling. I take a sip of latte and nod, swallowing before I answer.

"French, yeah. Born in Paris and lived there most of my life." I reply after a moment, setting my disposable cup back down.

"And your father is Pierre Bellerose, the businessman?" The reporter asks, jotting something down.

"That's my dad." I nod again, chewing absently on my lip and praying she doesn't ask about the fact he's in jail.

Thankfully, she moves onto my mother, which isn't great, but better than talking about my embezzling father.

"How about your mother?" Leah, that's her name, offers a soft smile, typing on her laptop.

"My mom died when I was seventeen." I admit, making Leah frown apologetically.

"I'm sorry. How did it happen, if you don't mind me asking?" She takes a sip of her coffee.

"Heart attack." I lie. That's what it says on Wikipedia, because I'll tell the world that my mom drank herself to death when hell freezes over.

"My condolences." Leah must notice I'm not particularly upset by the mention of Mom's death, but she doesn't say anything, changing the subject.

"How's Angel life? I've interviewed a few in my career, but never a brand-new one."

"Really, really great. I mean, it's a bit chaotic at times, like when I get a text saying "Be in Milan by this afternoon" but other than that, just amazing. All the other girls are really sweet, and really supportive. Especially the older ones, they remember what it was like to be a young Angel. I mean, they all started working in like 2000, and I was nine in 2000, but still." I gush, not able to stop myself. Angel life is amazing.

"Yeah?" Leah smiles.

"Yeah. It's like a family. A positively gorgeous, slightly hectic, kind of crazy family. Honestly, though, I love it. It's only been a few months, but I really do love it." I grin, making my mouth hurt by how hard I'm smiling.

"That sounds amazing. You said it was like your family, do you have any siblings?" Leah manages to effortlessly change the subject, typing on her laptop.

"I have five half-siblings by my dad." I say, nodding.

"Older or younger?"

"Two younger sisters, two younger brothers and an older brother. I've also got a niece, who's fifteen, and a nephew, who's thirteen." I reply.

I do have two younger half-sisters, Adelaide, who's twenty and Colette, eighteen, and two younger half-brothers, Gabriel, who's twelve and Pierre Junior (P.J) , he just turned sixteen.

"That's cool. So, you attend the Petrova Galas?" Leah asks.

"Yeah, Andrew and his fiancée, Charlie, are my best friends." I smile.

A few more questions later, Leah's finished with the interview.

"Thanks for meeting me today." Leah gives me a sort of awkward hug and packs up her stuff, offering another wide grin before exiting the Starbucks.

Instead of leaving, I check my phone.
