The Serpent Alchemist ( on hiatus )

Chapter 4

God I was so sick of this , Ed and Al had saved me but I'd come running back to Daisuke because I knew he would track me down anyway .
I needed a plan to kill Daisuke and destroy the club .

                ~ slight time skip ~
I approached Daisuke " master , some of your men requested a meeting in the golden room . " I bowed and trailed behind him slipping the key to the room out of my sleeve .

Following him into the room I slipped in and closed the door , with a flash I was behind him a rusty knife pressed to his throat ." I don't want you using me anymore you son of a bitch !" I dug the blade in and slashed sideways . Dodging sideways as his body collapsed and he bled all over the floor .

Taking a deep breath I dropped the knife and called all of Daisuke's thugs into the meeting room . Quietly locking the door behind them I tugged the bottle of fuel that if bought yesterday on the way home and spilled it all over the club adding alcohol to the mix.

Standing outside the club one last time I smiled slightly and dropped the match in my hand . The flames caught immediately and spread throughout the building sending smoke into the air . I stood on the uneven cobble stones and watched in awed silence while that bastard burned .

~ time skip ~

I wandered down the street casually singing the first thing that came into my head " I'm bullet proof nothing to lose fire away fire away .." . My hands in my pockets I fiddled with a handful of coins for food .

Wandering into a bakery I bought a pastry and sat down on the stairs of a grand looking building . I picked it apart savouring its flavour with my eyes closed , I felt the first light of the morning rise over the rooftops and hit my face .

I stretched and squinted watching as a few people walked past relaxedly . Standing up slowly I drifted down the street humming my hands resting behind my head .

I was trying to remember the lyrics to a song when I spotted Ed and Al walking down the street . Raising a hand I smiled and approached them " morning guys thanks for the other day . Sorry for running off like that ".

" yeah , are you ok ? I mean I heard the club you worked at burnt down last night ?" Ed looked concerned . I gave him a closed eyed smile " yeah , coarse I'm fine never been better actually . Though I'm looking for a job now . What do you guys do ?" .

Al spoke up " Ed's a state alchemist , but I don't know if that's helpful for you ." I clicked my fingers " hence that symbol on your cloak and why you saved someone you didn't know !" . He nodded and grinned rubbing the back of his neck .

I laughed " maybe I'll see you guys around huh " waving I headed toward the library to search up more on these state alchemists .
