Chapter 6 Eren's dead...

The titan evaporated instantly blowing me away with the force of a minor explosion. I manage to fire my ODM gear and grab one of the largest pieces of rubble instead of falling to my death.

 When I manage to lower myself to the ground, I run towards the place the titan evaporated, and thats when I see Eren's body.

"No" I whisper quietly "Oh god please no" I feel the fear rising up inside of me. 

I'm tired from the last battle, but I still sprint towards Eren. I quickly check his vital signs, but he isn't breathing and there's no pulse. I put my hand under his neck and try to lift his head, but I feel blood. I remove my hand quickly and see Eren's blood on my hand. I roll him over and see a nick in his neck, in the exact same spot I cut on the titan. 

I inhale sharply and pull his limp figure close to me. I let out a single tear which becomes two tears then three tears, until it's a steady river flowing down my face. Soon my body was wracked with sobs. I pull Eren closer letting the full idea that I had done this wash over me and it only makes me cry harder..

"Eren" I gasp through sobs "I'm so sorry" 

As I cradle him in my arms I think no he can't be dead...He's a shifter, he'll heal but in the back of my head I know it isn't true Eren is dead.

I pull him even closer and whisper "I'm sorry Eren we could have had a future, we could have loved each other for an eternity. I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I could have shared my secrets with you, and we could've talk about your past, and I took it all away. I'm sorry" and by the last word I'm practically incoherent.

I don't care if Hanji sees me crying, I don't care if the rest if the Levi squad see me crying, I don't care if the whole entire Scout Regiment sees me crying. All I know is that Eren's death hurts more than anything else in the world. I'll never hear Eren's voice again.

"OH GOD LEVI!" I hear Eren scream in the distance.
