Panting heavily as he awoke from a nightmare, Punk blinked several times as the sun warmed his skin. He hadn't been sleeping well since his accident. Memories of the incident filled his mind every night whilst sleeping, so the poor Straight Edge Superstar hadn't slept well in months. He angled his head to the side and felt a wave of fear course through him when he realized that his girlfriend, Eve, was not asleep next to him. "Shit..." he muttered to himself. He had trouble sitting himself upright as he still had major aches and pains, not to mention his right arm and left leg were still in a cast. Eventually, after a hard fought battle, Punk managed to seat himself in his wheelchair. Where the hell did you go Eve? The Straight Edge Superstar thought but he didn't need to wheel himself too far. He found Eve sitting on the couch; she looked as if she hadn't slept at all the previous night. "Babe, are you ok?" He eyed her with caution.

"Yeah Phil, I am fine...I just spent the whole night thinking about what you told me and quite frankly it doesn't make a whole lot of sense." Punk frowned at her comment, not understanding what she was on about.

"Please do go on, I am very confused" Punk stated, running a hand through his messy hair. Eve sighed before she began to explain her comment to Punk.

"Why would you try to get me to mend my friendship with Kelly? I mean, you don't even like the girl and I'm curious Phil, what's your ulterior motive? I don't understand. What changed your view?" she asked him, however, she avoided all eye contact. Punk pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration and let out a sigh.

"Are you still thinking about this? I thought I made it clear to you; there's no ulterior motive here Eve. I didn't say what I said because I am defending Kelly. She made a mistake and she was in the wrong. I agree with you there. I made a mistake by pushing you away but you still forgave me, so why not forgive your supposed best friend? Look, I said what I said because I know that when Kelly goes to Smackdown, you're going to be moping around. As for what changed my view? Well I heard through the grapevine that she took care of you whilst I was in the hospital. In fact, Cody, Layla, Randy, John and Kelly apparently took care of you whilst I was...you know..."

"Yeah they all did but why do you keep implying that I'm going to miss her. I am not going to miss her, Phil. I have you, Cody, Layla and John on Raw, I have my friends here."

"Do you think Layla or even Cody, for that matter, are going to talk to you after the way you behaved yesterday?" Punk queried causing Eve to stand up to face him, a scowl appearing on her face. "I doubt John's going to want to talk to anyone considering his girlfriend is leaving for Smackdown today. Trust me, you are going to miss her because you're not going to have anyone to bitch and whine about."

"You know what? I do not care about how I acted yesterday. I have my frustrations and I did what I did because I am pissed off about everything. Yes, I am eternally grateful to Randy for saving your life but some things he said yesterday were way out of line. And since when did you start seeing things from their perspective?" Eve asked, a glint of anger in her eyes.

"Eve..." Punk's voice was soft now. "Babe...Will you listen to yourself? I hate...I hate the fact that both Kelly and Randy hurt you. I hate it with a passion. It was one of the reasons that made me angry at them but there comes a time where everyone needs to take a chill pill. We don't need to add fuel to the fire. What I am trying to say Eve, is I have my own issues to deal with as well as taking care of you. I can't deal with anymore than that...I am in too much pain from my accident to worry about anything else, alright? I love you, I care about you, but I'm starting to reach my breaking point." Her anger seemed to fade away. Instead, concern for her boyfriend had become apparent.

"Phil is everything alright?" Eve asked, forgetting about her problems for the meantime. She placed a gently hand on his shoulder and eyed him worriedly. Punk sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
