Chapter 25: The Storyline

Randy, feeling as lonely as ever, stared down at the crinkled piece of paper that had Mickie's name and number written upon it. The Viper pulled out his phone, wondering if he should actually call the Diva or not. Before he could do anything else, Kelly had returned from her debut match on Smackdown, looking a little worse for wear. Randy caught sight of her in his locker room and quickly shoved the piece of paper into his bag.

"How did your match go?" he asked as he stood up to greet her.

"You mean you didn't watch it?" Kelly answered, jokingly.

"Unfortunately I didn't" Randy said sadly. "You're bleeding." Randy's eyes trailed down to the blonde's forearm. "What the hell happened?"

"If you were watching my match you would have known. Not good enough Randy, not good enough."

"Seriously, stop joking around...what happened?" Randy asked, in complete concern for her.

"Oh my god Randy, I was just in an extreme rules match against Natalya. Since, you know, the WWE's not PG anymore, I went through a table. No biggie."

"Oh, no biggie..." Randy muttered sarcastically, before he went looking through his duffel bag. Kelly frowned at him, not knowing what in the world he was looking for. "Sit down" Randy demanded.

"What? Why?" A frown of confusion appeared on the blonde's face.

"Kelly, just sit down" Randy said a little more forcefully. The blonde did as she was told and within an instant Randy was by her side. "I can't believe that moron Vince just put you in a extreme rules match. You had been seriously injured-"

"But I wasn't Randy..." He stared into her blue eyes for a long moment, before averting his gaze to her lips and without noticing he was leaning in closer and closer. However, he reminded himself that Kelly was with John and thus he then quickly averted his gaze and pulled away.

"...Uh...can you please pass me the towel...to your right." She handed him the towel, he was determined to forget about what he tried to do. "This may hurt a little..." He gently pressed the towel against the large gash on her left arm and this consequently caused the blonde to tense up and wince slightly. "Sorry...Just trying to get you all fixed up..." He smiled that heart melting smile of his and she turned her head to look at the WWE's Apex Predator. "What?" he asked once he realized she was watching him tend to her wound with a smile upon her face.

"Nothing..."

"Nothing always means something."

"No seriously, it's nothing" Kelly answered, feeling her cheeks redden. "Ow!" she added when Randy began dabbing some antiseptic upon her wound. "A little warning would have been nice Randal."

"Randal eh?" The Viper raised his eyebrow at her. "Also, stop being such a wuss" Randy added jokingly.

"Says you who's scared of flying." Randy chuckled and shook his head at her disapprovingly.

"That's a low Kel. That's really low. Now quieten down for a couple of seconds so I can fix your arm." She closed her mouth and stared at Randy intently who was being ever so precise and careful whilst tending to her cut. His icy blue eyes were transfixed on what he was doing and Kelly couldn't help but feel something towards him, however, she recognized the feeling. It was the feeling that had clouded her mind since Wrestlemania. She had fallen for, not only John, but also Randy. There was nothing harder than being torn between two.

"Okay guys, I'm here to talk about this storyline" Vince said crossing his hands on top of the desk. John folded his arms across his chest crossly even though he was eager to hear what he's boss was going to say. "Firstly, John, I admire your willingness to go on with this. Secondly, I love your idea of resigning Mickie because I just thought of a way to make you even better. John Cena vs WWE Champion Daniel Bryan and Mickie will help you win the title. The both of you will then do as I ask. You will both need to kiss after the match, turning John and you heel." John immediately stood up, anger washing through him.
