Remember (Ai x Syo fanfic)

Day 5

The next day, miraculously Otoya got better; strong immune system. However his poor senpai did not, therefore he had tostay in from the activities the others were going to do. He didn't want to hold the others back from their wonderful break, so he saidto go on ahead. Sure enough, Otoya and Natsuki were slighlty reluctant to listen to the brunette's request. But after a lot of explaining and persuasion, they complied to Reiji's request.

With that out of the way, the others decided to go to the amusement park or festival duringthe evening. Surely by then Reiji may feel better, but now theu have a problem, they have a lot of spare time. Or so Tokiya thought, it is actually his birthday today. It is August 6th and the others were planning a suprise celebration before they go to the festival. (Please read AN at the end) However, knowing STARISH and Quartet Night, somethingis bound to go wrong during the preparations.

This was the plan. Masato and Haruka were in charge of the food. Natsuki volunteered, but obviously, no one wanted him near the kitchen. Syo and Natsuki were in charge of decorations. Ai was in charge of the cake for several reasons. First, he can't distract Tokiya because Tokiya is uncomfortable around Ai, thanks to HAYATO information. Second, if Camus was in charge of the cake, what would happen to the cake. Finally, he had nothing else to do. Otoya and Ranmaru are in charge of distracting Tokiya, thid will be an interesting trio. Camus and Cecil were on guard, well, because they wasn't anything else to do. Well Cecil, helped with the decorating but Camus just drank tea looking out for Tokiya. Ren, he went shopping for supplies, poor him, he went by himself.

Everyone was busy preparing that they couldn't check up on Reiji. He couldn't blame them, it was in fact one of his proud kouhai's birthday. But at the same time he felt a little lonely and certainly old, he was the oldest out all of the idols. He stared at the ceiling as if it was some new music Haruka made up. He was so in trance he didn't even notice the door opening. "Kotobuki-senpai, are you okay?" Tokiya came to check up on him. "Wait Tokiya!!!" Otoya yelled as he ran down to Reiji's room. "Otoya don't yell." Tokiya scolded. "Whoops," Otoya covered his mouth with both of his hands momentarily and then put them down, "Sorry.." Tokiya sighed and looked back to his senpai. Reiji was chuckling at the sight of his kouhais. "Ma~ma~ Toki. Its fine. " Reiji said reassuringly. "If it's okay with you Kotobuki-senpai, may I stay here with you a while?" Tokiya asked. "Well, it's fine with me," Reiji glanced at Otoya. Almost like telepathy, Reiji knew what Otoya was thinking and nodded. Otoya looked at his senpai dumbfounded, he then snapped out it and did an apologetic gesture. "Well, if Tokiya wants to be with here with Reiji, I guess I'll be going. See you later!!" Otoya said while closing the door. "So Tokiya, what's wrong?" Reiji asked. "Everyone has been acting strange and I don't know why. I thought you might know despite being bedridden. "Tokiya said. "Well, I can't say for sure what's going on either," Reiji lied. "I see," Tokiya replied, "may i still stay here for the time being?" Reiji nodded and the two continued to chat in the peaceful atmosphere.

After a few hours, it was time for the scheduled time of Tokiya's suprise party. Tokiya and Reiji went out of the room because of the text from Otoya. "Kotobuki-senpai, are you sure you are alright?" Tokiya asked. "Toki, I'm fine, anyway let's go, we don't want to keep Otoya waiting. "Reiji replied. Tokiya looked at the brunette with uncertainty but continued to walk.
They arrived at a dark room and no one was there. "Kotobuki-senpai, are you sure this is the correct place?" Tokiya asked. "I'm positive!" Reiji answered. "Now get in," Reiji said. They both entered the room and then "Boom!! Bam!!! Boom!!!!" The lights turned on and everyone jumped up. "Happy birthday Tokiya!!!" Tokiya was utterly suprised, he didn't expect any of this. He even forgot his own birthday! "Well, don't just stand there let's go!" Syo exclaimed. "Huh? Go where?" Tokiya asked. "To the festival of course," Camus stated. "It's a part of your birthday suprise, " he also said. "Thank you everyone, " Tokiya said with a warm smile. "Don't thank us," Ranmaru retorted. "Huh?" Tokiya was confused. "Ma~ I think he means that he doesn't want you to thank them because the fun is only beginning," Reiji also added, "right Ranran?" "Tch" was the only thing that came out of Ranmaru's mouth. From there the lovable idols went to the festival to celebrate Tokiya's birthday.

Author's Note: You see, in my fanfic here, right now, the date is Tokiya's birthday. Reason being I can't update quick enough ( which I apologize for) and my fanfic actually runs on "normal" time so no literal time skips and yeah. Well see you next chapter!!
