Here is another chapter but this one is a one shot. Hope you enjoy!

Anyone POV

Sydnie just laid Maria down for her afternoon nap. It took her almost an hour to get her daughter asleep. She walked into the living room seeing a mess. Toys scattered everywhere and clothes from when Maria thought it was a good idea to throw the laundry around. Sydnie chuckled knowing Maria got her wild personality from her rather then her husbands calm and cute personality.

She sighed and went to the kitchen and started dishes, plugging up her phone to turn on some music loud enough for her but not to loud to wake her daughter. Exo Love Love Love the Chinese version came on and she couldn't help but smile. Sometimes it almost seemed unreal that she was married to Exo M lead dancer but when she looked at Maria and could see Lay smile and his eyes shape and nose, she knew it was real.

She started humming and gave a sad smile. It was times like this that she missed Yixing. When they first met it was at a fan signing and it was her turn to go up. When they looked at each other it was like they were the only two in the whole world. A fan shreaking behind her to hurry snapped her out of the trance she was put in. Lay signed her picture and gave it back with a shy smile. After the signing she unfolded to picture and saw a number written at the bottom. Everything after that is history and she never regreted calling the number afterwards.

After finishing the dishes she started picking to put them away. While she was up stairs there was a click and opening on the door and in walked in Yixing! He had returned early to surprise his wife. He had roses in one hand and chocolates in the other. He walked to the living room and waited in the entrance for Sydnie to notice him.

Sydnie came back down stairs and froze. She didn't realize but tears started streaming down her cheeks. Seeing his wife cry Lay was worried he had done something wrong. He went over and hugged Sydnie and she hugged back crying into Lay chest staining his jacket. She clinged to him not wanting to let go. It was then lay understood he didn't do something wrong his wife only missed him and he missed her.

"I got to get off early and I have break for a couple of days." He said softly setting down the gifts to wrap his arms around Sydnie better. They stayed that way for a long time only wanting to hold eachother. Lay pulled back some and used his thumb to lightly wipe away Sydnie tears. "I missed you so much." He said looking into her eyes. "I missed you too. Maria missed you, you've been gone so long..." she said and was cut off by a pair of lips on hers. Lay couldn't hold back anymore, he kissed his wife deeply holding her close. For the both of them it felt like the first time they had kiss all over again. The fireworks never went away no matter what SM said and tried to tear them apart.
A little while later Yixing broke the kiss and chuckled seeing Sydnie with rosy red cheeks. "So cute." He said and kissed her cheeks. Sydnie blushed more and hid her face in Yixing chest. "Shut up" she mumbled. "Where is Maria is she asleep?" He asked looking around and felt sydnie nod against his chest. "Yeah she fell asleep a little while ago." Sydnie said pulling back some. Lay nodded and went up stairs to at least see his daughter but not wake her. Sydnie sighed and sat on the couch. She couldn't help but smile Yixing was back, and with a few days off, I was amazing timing. Yixing came back down stairs smiling "She's so pretty asleep, just like you. " He said and sat next to Sydnie and moved to where they were both laying on the couch. He used the blanket on the couch to cover them up. Wrapping an arm around her waist they laid there in silence neither one saying anything.

"I couldn't help but think of you every concert, any stage, interviews. I also told people about us." Yixing said and held sydnie tighter. "When can we say something? This can't be a secret forever..." she said making small circles on Lay hand. "I know sweetheart but for right now it's just going to have to be." He said and kissed the top of her head.

They were able to lay there in for about 2 hours before there was a cry from up stairs. Sydnie smiled and got up. "Your daughter is awake she will be so happy to see you." She said and went to get Maria. She came back and the little girls hair was having a bad case of bed head her little curls sticking out in weird places. She was rubbing her eyes when she spotted her daddy. "BABA!!!" she yelled and reached out for her dad. Lay made a surprised face and took his little princess. "Maria I missed you so much!" He said hugging her and kissing the top of her head.

Sydnie watched the exchange between the two and smiled more. Nope she didn't regret anything and no matter how long she had to wait for their secret to come out one thing was for certain she will always love Yixing and their family.
