Sydnie and Maria were playing hide and seek in the living room, Lay was away at dance practice with the rest of the members but promised to be home early today. Sydnie was chasing after her little girl when the phone rang. She walked over and answered. "Hello?" She asked an stomped funny making her daughter giggle and run off. "Hey you need to check the news out like right now." Baekhyun said on the other end. "Hello to you too Baekhyun hold on..." She said and went to the computer turning it on. The first thing that came up was 'EXO LAY DATING?' The picture was of her and Lay walking down the street holding hands. You could tell it was Lay even with his hat and mask on but you couldn't tell it was her.

Syd nearly dropped the phone and read through the article. "Well they don't know it's me so..we're still ok right now. What does Lay say?" She asked nervous. "He in the office with the CEO right now so I'll have him call you. I have to go talk to you soon." Baekhyun said and hung up the phone.

Maria came up and asked to be picked up so sydnie picked her up and gently moved some of her little girl curls out her face. "What are we going to do now?" She asked her little girl. " Māmā ài bàba? (Mama loves daddy?)" Maria asked leaning her head on her mama shoulder. Sydnie smiled "Yes mama loves daddy very much. So I guess that means we will be ok." She said turning off the computer. " Māmā bàba yào huí jiā bùjiǔ ba? (Mama daddy going to come soon right)" Maria said and it took sydnie a second to translate what her daughter said before she smiled and nodded. Hanging out with all the Exo M members and Lay being her father Maria Chinese was way better then her mother's so sometimes she couldn't understand but Maria will speak English or mix the two together so it makes it a bit easier.

"Yes baby daddy will be home soon." She said and put her daughter down. Maria ran off to play with her blocks and Sydnie sighed sitting on the couch. The door swung open and Lay walked in looking tired. "Before you ask I told Baek to tell you I was busy so I could surprise you." He said and smiled. Syd got up and hugged her husband "What are we going to do this all has come out soon Lay...." She said slightly panicked and Lay silenced her with a gentle kiss. "I talked to the CEO...he says we can go public he understands this isn't good for us or Maria. There's a meeting being held tomorrow we go in say what we have to and leave no questions. I already feel uneasy about this." He explained his kissed Sydnie again and went off to spend some time with his little girl.

(NEXT DAY)

The room was packed with reporters SM gathered who they could together to get the story. Rather then social media they will come out this way since the circumstances were diffrent.

Lay was standing in the middle with his members around him for support. After Lay says what he has to Suho is going to speak then they will leave. The dancer was so nervous when he was given the go ahead it took him a second to gather his thoughts.

"Thank you everyone for coming today....umm..I came to talk about the rumors of me dating going around...They are true but she isn't my girlfriend actually she is my wife.." He said and held up his hand to show off his wedding ring. People started shouting questions but were quickly silenced. "We have been married for 2 years now and also have a beautiful baby girl named Maria. " He said and waved Sydnie over. She walked onto the stage with Maria in her arms. "I know people will be angry because I have kept this secret from my fans but please understand I only wanted to protect my family. I'm sorry to the EXO-L and everyone else." He said and stepped back holding Sydnie hand as Suho stepped forward. "We ask that you guys support Lay and his family he is very happy. Exo will be by his sideand support him." He said and smiled everyone turned and left ignoring the yelling behind them.

"Why was that so nerve racking but it wasn't about us." Kai asked and everyone laughed. "Oppa...oppa....oppa...umin!!!"Maria yelled going to xiumin who gave her candy. "She is going to be so confused speaking 3 diffrent languages." Sehun said and laughed. "I'm going to be confused! My daughter chinese is better than mine. Her and Lay will talk forever and I don't even know what it is." Sydnie said and huffed. Lay chuckled and wrapped an arm around his wife.

"Yall need to have another one so Maria can play with someone it's best in twos. Plus it's just another one for me to dress up." Luhan said and Tao smiled nodding. Lay smiled and back hugged sydnie. "What do you say Syd let's have another one." He said and nuzzled into his wife neck. She smiled "yeah lets. Maria your staying with EXO uncles tonight." She said and the little girl giggled.

"No matter what happens now. I will have my family and that will be enough." Lay said and Sydnie smiled and nodded agreeing.
