Dear Zelda,

All the money that I spent that day, I'll never regret it. You know why? Because I spent it on a person as spectacular as you. Too cheesy? Yeah too cheesy.

So continuing the stories.

I'd like to recall the time you planned my birthday. Which was about a few weeks after your birthday. You sure did get back at me for that.

So it all started on the morning of my birthday. You took for a jog and said that it was punishment for taking you jogging. I didn't mind as much as you did so ha loser!

Anyway... After we finished going for a jog we came back home and you asked me to get dressed.

"Once you're done getting ready I have a few places I need to go before we head to your surprise thingy. So quick" You said and I nodded. After getting ready we sat in your car before driving off.
You made a call as soon as we started,"5 minutes" You said to whoever was on the other side and kept the phone down.

We first went to the Marks and Spencers store. Over there at the entrance stood one my best friends, Nicholas. He smirked at me and I started to get a little curious. What were they up to? I walked into the store and then realized what they were doing. The entire store with a couple of random shoppers started to sing for me. And then later on some of them came and wished me and made annoying small talk. You bought a few things there and we headed out. Before we left Nicholas bid us goodbye and said he'd meet us in the evening.

After that you took me to a bakery where everyone sang for me again there I met my sister,  Lana. I spoke to her for sometime. It had been really long since I met her. I was busy with University and she with work. While I was talking to Lana you bought a cake that you made me hold the whole ride till we reached a Chinese take out place. It was my favorite takeout place. It was also our dinner almost every night. I don't even know why we ate that stuff every day but it became tradition after some point. We would either have pizza, Chinese take out or burger and fries. We'd just like alternate between these and funny thing we literally, and I mean literally, never got tired of that food. Even now we still eat those things sometimes. Crazy eh? Anyways. You picked up some food and everyone sang for me yet again. You really did know how to get back at me huh. Oh well

After, we picked out the food we sat in the car and started driving. I had no idea where we were going but I remember at one point you made me put a blindfold on. I obviously couldn't see anything but I was definitely able to smell the ocean air. Undoubtedly.

We reached. You helped me out of the car and onto the beach. My sense of smell was really good then. You guide me a little and then we climbed into the pier thing. The same pier we spent an entire night on the day we went to watch the perks of being a wallflower.

You then opened my blindfold and I was surprised. You had decorated the entire thing with blankets, curtains for the wall and there was a laptop placed on a small table in the middle. And there were also fairy lights since the blankets and curtains had made it slightly dark.

"This looks beautiful sugar" I had said.

"Oh it's no big deal!" You'd said. "I just har to clear it of a lot of alcohol bottles"

I smiled at you as you sat down on the really big two people chair that was in front of the laptop.

"Come sit. And pick something to watch. We have 6 hours before we have to leave for the party" You said and I sat down beside you.

"I pick the perks of being a wallflower because all I can think about being here is that movie" I said. You smiled at me and played the movie.

We just cuddled there and watched the movie. You looked so beautiful, for most of the movie I kept looking at you.  Just like the time when we actually went to watch the movie. I thought to myself, a guy like me doesn't deserve her. She's too good to be true. I'd never ever met anyone who's as good as you Zelda, and I will forever treasure that.

So.... I went off topic there. After we finished watching the perks of being a wallflower we decided to watch reel steel.

After watching both the movies we packed up the place a little and headed back to the car. While I was sitting in the passenger seat because you were quite adamant and wouldn't let me drive, you threw a box in my hand. It had clothes in it. It was a blue shirt, which you said made my eyes more prominent and pants.

"You need to wear this tonight. So we'll have to make a stop home so both of us can get dressed up" You said and we started driving back.
You forgot to mention and so did I but by around the time of our birthdays we has moved out of the dorm rooms and bought an apartment  and started living together.

So we changed into different clothes. I was wearing the clothes you got me and you, a navy blue beautiful dress. Well, the dress looked good but it seemed even better because it was on someone as gorgeous as you.

So we drove for about 30 minutes and reached the beach house. When we went in there were a couple of friends and my parents. They all wished me, gave me gifts and had fun and left.

After everyone had gone and it was just us left and we were cleaning up the mess you turned to me and said, "I know this wasn't as great as what you planned for me but..." You were saying and I just shook my head at you.

"What?" You asked looking at me.

"I loved it. And you know why?" I asked walking towards you.

You held my outstretched hand and asked, "why?"

"Because I got to spend it with you" I said.

So ya. That's how we spent my birthday. Which was really fun. Thank you Zelda for being so perfect. I love you.
