Dear Zac,
Well, good Rachelor got his punishment for being a bad cat! I still can't believe he actually bit her. That cat has lost it Zac. It's starting to worry me a little. Oh god I miss that little thing...
I'm glad everything is good at home. And congratulations on finishing up the project I'm sure it's going to be a great success honey. Also, I'm not too happy about you for doing the friends marathon without me! How could you do that! :(
Anyhoo, So we started out with work the other day and you won't believe what I saw.... A fossil! Haha! No biggy! We haven't got to the main part of it yet. I'm still on that mission to find something that has never been discovered before.
Now that we're talking about things we'll never forget, let's keep it going.
Remember our super awesome first date? You did possibly everything to make that day special and that was my 'best memory ever'. A few others but that's not the point.
Let me retell this extremely cute story. So it was the time of fun fare. Clichéd eh? But of course you since you didn't want me to guess the date you weren't going to just take me there. You being the perfectionist you are you had to make that the most annoyingly perfect date. An almost fairytale it was.
After my last period on Friday as I walked out the doors of the classroom I was greeted with the beautiful sight of you with a bunch of blue and white lilies (my favourite flowers). I took the lot from your hand and smiled.
"How was class?" You'd asked me.
"Small talk really? Can we just get to the date? It's been killing me that you haven't given me a single clue of what we're doing" said I and all you did was grin at me.
"Let's go then shall we?" You asked and then we went to the parking lot where you had kept your ride. My favourite, Harley.
You were there with that black leather jacket on the Harley. Damn, that was hot! Being the similars that we are, even I had a leather jacket fetish. We looked totally bad ass then with the leather jacket and shades look. And of course the beautiful Harley.
I remember we drove for about 30 minutes before we reached the beach on the outskirts of town. It wasn't used by people generally. I don't know why though, maybe that's because it's in the middle of nowhere. Not like literally in the middle of nowhere but it was like surrounded by forests and stuff. Although it was a gorgeous beach. And the silence around along with all the lovely trees made that place wonderful. You surprised me by telling me that your family owned that beach. So we got off the car and walked to the beach and I was absolutely stunned! You had arranged all sorts of rides and all and created those whole fun fare feel to it. I loved it.
On the beach there was also a house which I assumed belonged to you. You took me into the house. After showing me around you took me up to the first floor and into a room.
"Open that door. You'll find something there which after seeing you'll know what to do and meet me in the kitchen" You said and I nodded.
When I opened that door my jaw dropped. It was a huge room filled with just clothes. On the table in the middle of the room lay a basket in which there was a floral print maxi dress that was thread tied at the back. That was the exact dress that I had seen at a store a few days ago bit didn't buy it because it was too expensive. You later told me that you'd gone back and bought that dress for me.
There was also a note that read:Dear Zelda,
Please don't kill me for buying you that dress. Thank you.
Now strap on that dress and look gorgeous as ever and let's go on this date.~Zac
So I strapped on the dress and met you down at the kitchen.
You were standing there in a pair of beachy shorts and a white t-shirt. Neither of us would have survived in our leather jackets with the beach humidity.
"Shall we my lady?" You asked politely offering your hand for me to hold.
I take your hand and say, "we shall indeed"
Grinning the two of us walked out the door onto the beach. It was maybe an hour and a half before sun set.
"So where do you want to go first, love?" You asked me.
"The photo booth" I said with a smile and we head out there. We ended up taking loads of pictures. But my favourite one would definitely be the one in which you were just looking at me while I made an absolutely ridiculous face at the camera. And also the one where we looked like we were about to kiss. Those pictures were adorable!
Later we went to the ice cream shack and I order a pink overload strawberry and you a double chocolate. We sat on the table that was right in front of the ice cream shack and ate. The funny part was when we tried to mix up our ice creams and it didn't taste all that good but we still ate it because wasting food is a bad thing! ;)
After ice cream we went on a couple more rides and when it was almost sun set time you said let's walk a little ahead you had something in mind. We walked for a few minutes and in front of me I saw a swing set that faced the beach. I smiled at you and jogged to the swings with you behind me.
There was a music player by the swings on which you started playing Yellow by Coldplay.
The two of us sat there on the swings and just looked into the sky as the sun was setting making its way to the horizon so that's its tired shades of red and yellow could gently kiss the endless ocean waters.
We sat there in silence trying to absorb all that surreal beauty around us.
After a few moments you got up from the swing and stood in front of me extending your hands for me which I took and we started walking back. We got back to the house and you lead me to the balcony on the second floor that faced the beach. There on the railings were fairy lights all around and on the table there were a bunch of candles with a meal placed on it.You walked up to the table and pulled out a chair so that I could sit. Once we were seated we ate our meals while talking about random things. I remember one thing that we spoke about very clearly. It was about how I thought my name sounded like that of a biblical slut (that's the censored version)
It was a night I'll never forget. And funny thing was that this wasn't even the end of the night. You may carry on from here.
With heaps of sandy love,
Zelda.P.S. I said sandy love because I'm at an archeology site and there lots of sand here. Just in case you didn't understand. Love you.
