Saturday

My eyes fluttered open to reveal the sun shining in through the curtains and the rays of sun striking Joey's angelic face. I laid in bed and admired his features. I felt the smile on my face grow as I slowly got out of bed and made my way downstairs to make breakfast. I was humming and swaying my hips around as I prepared a special treat for my soulmate. I finished playing everything and place it on a tray and then proceeded to the stairs and entered the bedroom and paused when I saw the bed empty and the shower running. However, that's not the reason I paused. The reason I paused was because I heard singing, beautiful singing. I walked up to the bathroom door and pressed my ear up against it.

After that the shower stopped and I immediately walked over to the bed and sat down. Moments later the bathroom door opened and Joey stepped out, fully clothed and his grey-white hair in a very messy quiff.

"Wow you sound beautiful singing." I said. Joey's eyes went wide his face turned red as he covered his face.

"You weren't supposed to hear me." Joey mumbled into his hands. I giggled and approached Joey. I gently grabbed his wrists and lowered his hands from his face.

"Joey, you're perfect in every aspect, so I meant what I said. Your singing voice is amazing and it makes me fall in love with you again." I slowly spoke towards the love of my life. Joey just looked at me and then wrapped his arms around my neck.

"Daniel you're the most wonderfully perfect husband I could ask for." Joey said. As my lips met his I felt the sparks I felt the first time I kissed him in the bathroom at the school 5 years ago. I'm in love!
