Popular list

School has been going on for a month now. The first popular list being released today. The popular list is written anonymously and lists every single kid in our grade with a number. Everyone wants a low number. I am aiming for top 30. I walk into school and me and Annie go straight to our lockers. We find the list sticking out of the vent. I pull mine out and look at the first page

2.Blake Butler
40.Gavin Butler.
I took Gavin's spot. He isn't even a high number. Annie is number 8. I can't believe this. Gavin has always been super popular. But know all of my friends are in the top 20. I'm just glad Gavin doesn't really care about the list. He would be really mad at me if he did. Okay well now i know where I stand. Me and Annie have calmed down in our relationship. Don't worry we still kiss. We just don't do it all the time. Mainly because we don't feel the need to risk getting caught. When we do kiss we make it count. I go through my school day normally. I have my classes go to lunch have some more classes and then leave. ME and Annie meet at our spot. It's the only place were we won't get caught. There are no security cameras or Windows. She gets their first. She always does. She jumps up onto me and clings. She rests her head on my shoulder. We hug and then she hips down. We kiss once for a long time. Then we leave. This is how it is every day. On the bus ride home Gavin who I have been sitting with says nothing about the list. When we get home we hop in the truck with dad and go to the beach. This were we play soccer. Me and Gavin both got the team if you have been wondering. I have also been attending student council. It is super easy. We come up with a community project and do fund raisers. School is just school.
