Elemmire

I skipped alongside Frodo, who looked at me lovingly. His crystal blue eyes shown with love and adoration.
I had to admit, being twice his size was awkward but my love for him overcame that. The air smelled of bog. Disgusting.
Frodo smelled oddly enough of rain and strawberries. Not 'manly' but it suited him.
He was sweet like strawberries and frankly I loved him for it.
I tripped, landing face first in some substance.
"Egh!!" I shrieked. I wiped the substance off my face. Frodo smiled. Elemmire chuckled.
"Miss. Elemmire, are you alright" Sam asked.
"Please tell me that was mud. Whatever you do don't tell it was something else"
Frodo knelt down, wiping two fingers through the substance. He sniffed them.
"Sorry, love"
"Ewwwwww!!!" I yelled. Frodo began to laugh hysterically while I wiped my face with a handkerchief I had packed. Thank Valor!
Frodo lay on the ground laughing. In anger, I picked up a handful of the substance and threw it at him. It landed on his shirt.
"That's for laughing, hobbit!" I yelled. He stopped. I wrenched the ring off my finger, tossing it on him. I stormed away. Frodos face crumpled.
"El!" he yelled. I ignored him.
I walked side by side with Eglaneth, mad at Frodo for laughing.
"That might have been uncalled for, El" She said.
"He was laughing at me!" I yelled, anger rising within me.
"I know. Just breathe. In and out" Eglaneth said.
I looked to her, my eyes darkening. "I hate you." I snarled. To say she looked concerned would be an understatement. She reached out a hand. "El, you okay?" she asked.

"Stay away from me, ghost!" I spat. My eyes were nearly black. I backed away. Everyone around me was evil. They wanted me dead.
"Elemmire. We will not hurt you! We are all going to protect each other!!" Eglaneth insisted. I glared at her.
"You are going to hurt me. All of you will!" I yell.
"The ring is affecting her" Eglaneth muttered in dismay.
"I need that ring" I hissed.
Eglaneth shook her head. "No, El. Fight it! The ring is evil. It wont help you!"

You want it! He has it!" I hissed. I stepped towards Frodo. He looked to me, terrified yet strong. Eglaneth stepped in front of Frodo, blocking my path. I hissed.
"Frodo, this is going to sound crazy." Eglaneth said.

"What?" Frodo asked. Confusion and worry were laced in his blue eyes.
"Kiss her." Ordered said. His eyes widened.
Frodo looked scared and confused. I began walking forward.
"Now!!" Eglaneth yelled. He ran over to me. Frodo pulled me down by my shirt. He crushed his lips to mine.
I struggled, before a strong emotion overwhelmed me. I wound my hands in his hair, falling to my knees.
He continued to kiss me. I eventually pulled away. Eglaneth looked to me.
"El, look up for a second" I do. She sighs in relief. Back to normal."

I began to sob. I nearly attacked the man I loved! How could I be so weak!

"Its ok now, its alright" Eglaneth reassured."

"I..am so...weak! I shouldn't stay...I'll take control..." I sobbed.

"Get that thought out of your head, El! You aren't going to fail. Especially with Frodo here!"

I looked up. "My name means Star Jewel. I don't feel like one right now."

Eglaneth sighed. She knelt down. "My name means Abandoned One. We don't always have to be what we share told to be. El, you are a jewel. Frodo loves you with everything in him."

I smiled at her. Frodo wrapped his arms around me.
"El, I love you so much. I can't do this without you. You keep me going. Don't leave me"
I place a hand to his cheek. He smiles at me, slipping my engagement ring on my finger. "I love you" I said.
"More than my own life" he continued.
He kissed me yet again.
We eventually found the Dead Marshes. I shuddered as we walked. Little fires burn in the swamp. I looked into the water, letting out a shrill shriek.
Faces were in the water. I backed up.
"Faces. In the water!" I said. I fell onto my butt and Frodo comforted me. Gollum looked to us.
"The Dead Marshes. Yes, yes! That is their name. This way. don't follow the lights." I stood up, my foot slipping. It fell into the water.
"Ohh!" I exclaim.
"Careful now! Or elvses go down to join the dead ones, and light little candles of their own."
I shudder. Suddenly, I feel a trance like state fall over me. I start to wander towards the water opposite me. I am drawn to a face. Its eyes snap open and I fall in.
"Elemmire!" Eglaneth and Frodo yell. I see faces. Green ghostly faces. I cry. They reach for me.
I am pulled up by Gollum. I stare at him in disbelief. Frodo kisses me.
"More than my own life" he said intently. I smiled.
"For eternity" I swore. He frowned.
"Not me, love" I shook my head, whispering five words that would change everything.
"I choose a mortal life"
Later that night, Frodo clutched me to him.
"Your warmth is fading, darling" he noted. I nodded.
"I know" I whispered. I knew the consequences of this. But I would give anything for Frodo, which I did.
He kissed my temple.
"Why give immortality up?"
"For you. For our children. For everything" I whispered.
"We will have children?" he asked in disbelief.
"Yes. A girl and a boy"
"What do they look like?"
"The girl had my hair and your eyes. The boy had your hair and my eyes" I smiled, tearing up.
He brushed back a strand of my brown wavy hair.
"My love...My Elemmire..."
"Celebrian" I said, "That's my middle name"
"Elemmire Celebrian Undomial, I love you so much!" he exclaimed. He clutched my face.
"You are my eternal love" I answered.
He smiled, clutching me closer to him. I shivered as a dash of cold splashed through my body. I clenched my teeth.
"El?" Frodo asked.
"So...cold...." I shivered. He removed his cloak, and helped me to the shade under a rock ledge. He hugged me closer to him, sharing his warmth. My teeth chattered.
"How can I help you, El?" he asked.
"You can..t...h..elp..me.." I stuttered. I cried as waves of cold splashed over me.
Frodo stroked my hair. Suddenly, he cried out, clutching his shoulder.
"Hide!" Eglaneth hissed. She ran over, sitting next to me.
Frodo lifted the ring but I slapped his hand.
"D....ont"
Whatever was causing Frodo to fall into a trance left. He gasped for breath. I shivered.
"Come along, elvses and hobbits. The black gate approaches!"

Authors note: Ok guys! Here's Elemmire! Her coldness is due to her immortal life leaving her. I know that didn't happen at all in either book or movie but I thought it interesting and wanted to write that.
Ps. Sadly, Amayas pov won't be up for several chapters. Im sorry! So, enjoy Eglaneth and Elemmire.
